I bought this measuring wheel for golfing purposes, expecting it to enhance my experience with its promised features. However, my satisfaction fell short of expectations due to several reasons.Firstly, the accuracy and flexibility, which were highly touted, didn't live up to the hype. Despite the precision gear structure and a claim of ±0.5% accuracy, I found discrepancies in measurements on multiple occasions. These inaccuracies, even if minor, can significantly impact decision-making in golfing, where precision is key.The portability and lightweight nature, while beneficial in theory, also presented challenges. The 4-section telescopic rod, although adjustable, felt flimsy and unstable at full extension. This instability made precise measurements difficult, especially on uneven terrains commonly found in golf courses.The 12.5-inch measuring wheel and its construction were supposed to offer durability and quiet operation. However, the rubber tire and ABS wheel frame felt cheap, and the operation was not as quiet as expected, which can be distracting in the serene environment of a golf course.While the craftsmanship boasts high-quality materials like ABS and aluminum oxide, the overall build quality didn't seem to reflect this. The seamless closure for smooth measurements was occasionally interrupted, hinting at a less-than-ideal gear and bearing operation.Lastly, its wide range of uses might make it seem versatile, but for the specific nuances and requirements of golfing, it felt somewhat out of place. The wheel struggled on softer surfaces like the fairway and was cumbersome to use in tight spots.In summary, while this measuring wheel might serve well for other purposes, its performance in the context of golfing left much to be desired.
