4" Woven Fiberglass Cloth Roll E-Glass Fiber Fabric Plain Weave, Reinforced Repair Winding, Seams, Boat, Molding, Model

I have some fiberglass fabric that is intended for larger scale repairs, e.g., fiberglass boats. It is a rather coarse weave. This is probably great for such repairs. However, most of my repairs are on a smaller scale where the coarse weave and fraying at the edges is a problem. This roll of fiberglass fabric is better. The fabric is woven so that the fibers that go to the long edges turn back on themselves for the next pass across the width. This prevents fraying at the long edges. Fraying still takes place along the edges generated when the strip is cut from the roll. It would be nice to find fiberglass fabric with stabilized weave (perhaps using a tiny amount of epoxy to stick fibers together where they cross).

As expected, mostly uniform with very minor flaws in the weave not affecting use.

Good price and worked for what I needed which was inside reinforcement, but those doing finish work of any kind might think twice- the roll I received had a big snag in the weave every 4' or so.

Easy to use. Just roll out and cut.

used it to build a fish tank join.
