Premium ALL-Surface Anti Slip Gripper Rug & Mat Underlay - 120 x 180cm

Absolutely brilliant. I have a really flimsy rug that was always moving by “miles” and bunching up significantly in multiple places along its entire length.My rug is placed on top of cheap carpet.I tried carpet tape but that did not work.I used this product and was IMMEDIATELY impressed.After three days, even though on numerous occasions have intentionally tried shoving the rug with my foot, the rug refuses to budge (it remains flat and in the same location).Having this underlay also adds a little more sponginess/plushness to my rug (not a huge improvement but noticeable all the same).I am VERY pleased with this purchase and will be buying another one for my child’s bedroom rugs.My only concern is that the product seems somewhat expensive, costing as much as the rug itself (perhaps that’s why it actually works!)UPDATE (2020.03.16):The rug is still in place and hasn’t moved an inch even after vigorously brushing with a broom.I am super impressed.

Bought this product a few months ago and waited til it had been in use for a while before leaving a review. The underlay was really easy to fit - just follow the instructions provided (I chose to cut the underlay into six pieces and placed one at each corner of the rug and one on either side of the longest side of the rug and fixed it to a carpet). Does exactly what it should and the rug hasn't moved at all - wish I'd discovered this sooner! I have also taken up the rug whilst some work was being done nearby so it didn't get ruined and left the underlay down - when the rug was put back on the underlay, it was just like new and the rug has still remained in the same position. Have now bought three of these in total - one was to fix a rug to a wooden floor and the results are just the same. A great buy - not cheap but does such an amazing job at keeping rugs in the place you want them to be. Recommended.

This is a good product and the adhesion is good. The only negative point is if you have to take the rug up for some reason. We had the carpet underneath cleaned and had to take up the rug. When the rug was returned to its place the adhesion had diminished considerably. Other than that, well worth buying.

Contacted the seller for advice on size v rug. Very helpful and prompt. Ordered the size required and although it was expensive (big rug!) at nearly £70 it has been worth every penny. Easy to cut and instructions on how to lay properly are included. I had to add section from peice cut off to the width but very easy to do.Rug is in a high traffic area now over a month and has not moved a centimetre. Absolutely brilliant and so glad i spent the extra for a quality item. Made in USA-perfect.

I have used this product before, and it is very good, the last one lasted years. If you have a mat or carpet that slides, this keeps it in place. So no more having to shift the mat ect all the time. Highly recommended.

Worked amazingly to start with, I was using it for rug onto carpet. After about 2 weeks the rugs began to move again. I've tried the recommended "spray with water" several times but to no avail. Amazement to disappointment in 2 short weeks :(

I have tried several things to stop my heavy rug from moving on the short pile carpet that I have but have finally found the answer in this product.Very easy to cut to size using sharp scissors to make sure you have the gap all around the rug once down.You do need to make sure you have it and the rug in the exact position you want it in though as once it is down you can't easily tweak it, especially if your rug is big and or heavyThe rug has been hoovered, walked on, and been shuffled and rolled on by the dog and it has not moved at all.Overall I cannot fault it. Just follow the instructions given with the product and take your time putting it down.UPDATE: Been down for a year and still as perfect as my first review. The rug has not moved at all, absolutely great as I have an old back injury so bending to constantly move a rug back into place is now not needed thanks to this product

This product has promise, but not for me: I was confident it would prevent my hall mat from “walking” across the carpet. The product was expensive and I expected it to work. It didn’t. After walking over the mat half a dozen times I had to reposition it -so defeats the object. I believe the problem is that the mat is rubber backed (like a Turtle Mat) and the product does not grip on that. I was too late to return the product and feel a refund would have been in order. I managed to fix the problem by fixing Guerrila tape to the underside of the mat (see photo), which now sticks firmly to the anti slip product. Problem solved. Overall spent >£30 to stop a mat moving lol!On the plus side the anti slip product really does grip the hall carpet. And I am convinced if the mat was a fabric/hessian backed mat it would work very well.
