O’Bright Luxor - Dimmable LED Desk Lamp with Gooseneck (Black-Clip on)

Pleasantly surprised at how well this lamp illuminates a generous area for whatever task you are working on. Just eyeballing it: it lights up a 3' to 4' area well enough to work in, and farther than that for ambient lighting. We have some desk lamps which produce a small spot light just large enough to read a book or write a letter. This lamp produces much, much more than a small spot of light. We've got this set up on a shelf above an area of the kitchen counter which needed more light. Now we can see better for chopping, mixing, etc., giving us a lot more functional counter space.The lamp is a nice, compact size, and heavy enough to be very stable, so no worries about tipping, but of course it is not an overly heavy lamp.And it's dimmable! We love it!

I like so much about this lamp, and recommend it to neerly anyone.PROS- The all metal construction is very solid, including the clamp.- The matte black metal looks really bold and modern.- The rotation knob (positioned on the power cord, slightly blow where it connects to the clamp) has a nice range of light from off to 10%-100%.- The knob only clicks when you turn the light off, so it's free rotating for fine tunning brightness.CON- I don't know why they specifically mention "non-flickering" when the light certainly flickers when dimmed below 40%. As long as you turn the light up to medium or bright, this is not an issue. If you want dim, you will see it pulsing. This is disappointing, but for my use I will just keep it brighter.

I tried out many many lamps before choosing this one. Some were too big; or the bulb showed below the shade; or the switch was hard to operate or in a weird place; or it was just ugly.I do like the silver, but was not as crazy about the black. Still, this little lamp has some great features. I really appreciated it when I would read that some lamps had the on/off switch on the cord because you cannot always tell in the description of the product. This lamp has a round button that is easy to turn, and it can be dimmed. It also has a USB port for my phone, which is nice.Most of all, the light that it gives off is perfect, and it is dainty enough to fit nicely on my desk. The gooseneck allows the shade to be positioned in exactly the place that works best. So, it has all the features that I wanted. It's a great style, it is totally functional, and it's a reasonable price.

I have two of these lamps, one clamped to each side of the headboard on my bed. I wanted a light that I could make bright enough to read small print, dim enough for a nightlight, flexible to point wherever, takes up zero space on a bedside table, and clamps to the upright frame of my metal headboard (wrought brass, not upholstered).Note: If you want a desk lamp for detailed art or craft work like sewing or beading, this might not be bright enough, especially if you want the space very well illuminated. But it's just fine for sketching, journaling, and similar work.This model has all of those features and more: just one easy-to-use switch handles both power and brightness/dimming, so there's no fumbling around just to turn on the light. It moves easily and stays where you put it, so you can move around and keep reading. The shade contains the light well enough that it doesn't disturb my sleeping partner. Sturdy clamp, too. The two-year warranty is extremely helpful too.After three months, it suddenly stopped working last week. Friday night, I wrote O'Bright through the Amazon portal to describe the problem. I included the Amazon invoice# and AISN hoping to minimize questions. Since it was the weekend, I didn't expect a reply until Monday. Instead, they replied almost immediately to apologize for the problem and promised me a replacement with its own two-year warranty. It appeared at my door on Sunday. (!!) I hoped for a quick resolution, but this was WAY above and beyond.TL;DR - Great bedside lamp exactly as advertised and O'Bright has fantastic service.

I originally had purchased another desk light with a big metal shade when I actually put it on my desk and adjusted it to where I needed it I didn’t like that the lightbulb fell below the shade. It was blinding me, so I returned that one and chose this one which I like a lot better because the light is sort of enclosed, so it’s not right in your eye and it also has, a flexible gooseneck that you can adjust. I even think the gooseneck could’ve been a little bit higher, but it’s good enough and it dims so it works well for my desk

I've been using this for several months now. The dimmest it will dim to is not very dim, so if you sometimes want a very dim light, this ain't it. Also, as other reviewers have mentioned, this is easily tipped over - the base needs to be a bit heavier; I've knocked it over twice. So if you don't need a dim light and will put this where it will never be touched, except to turn it on, it's a nice sized, very bright light, otherwise, it needs improvements.
