Eureka! Add-On Vestibule Mini Room for Timberline Tents

Great addition to the 2 man tent. Lets you take the gear out of the tent and two people can sleep in comfort. Seems a bit expensive but very glad I had in, especially when it rained.

This vestibule is super easy to attach to the tent. I love having the additional space. It is nice to be able to keep shoes outside of the tent and out of the elements - it kept the inside of the tent much cleaner too.

created extra space. does create some condensation but fixable by leaving window open a bit. nice dry area

Great add-on. Easy to attach and works as it is designed. Great for storing your shoes and other items outside the tent. The first time in use, it rained. Everything was dry the next morning.

I went up set this up in my yard and test my gear as I always do, and the grommet where the pole goes through ripped out of the fabric. I wish I had a different option for adding a vestibule to my timberline 4.Going to be seeking a replacement as I want a vestibule, but I’m not hopeful at all it will be any better. Broke before I could even set it up…

my first eureka t2 served me well for many years, i did not part with it willingly. if properly cared for it is still going strong. with my second t2 i've purchased the vestibule, i had always wanted one. i felt sure that it would be a fabulous addition to any campsite,it truly is. i,ve always known eureka to be quality, they still are, even in todays times that product quality and the pride in manufacturing is often on the decline eureka is still doing well.amazon makes it easy to find a wide variety of products in one place/order.

I almost ordered the vestibule for the smaller. Fortunately I reread the description before sending in the order, and confirmed the proper one to get. I can't emphasize it enough. Make sure you get the right size. If you have any doubt, call Eureka and ask. They were very helpful to me when I double checked the size before ordering. I checked mine out during daylight and am glad I did. It is a very tight fit. But, as long as you have the poles in properly, it does fit.The directions don't mention it goes on before the rain fly until past the 1/2 way point. I know! I know! But, I first put up the tent and attached the fly before adding the vestibule. No, I did not have a picture of the proper attachment available. Despite what many say about men and directions, I WAS reading them. The shock cord that wraps it to the front poles is a very tight fit. I had to work mine from one side, up over the top, and down to the other.None of the above is meant to be negative. It is just to give a heads up. Once you get used to putting it on, it is really nice. The night I tested mine was very hummid. No, I would not usually want to use this on hot humid nights. But on this occasion I was pleasantly surprised that it kept the dew off the front flap of the tent. From the fit over the poles, I suspect that if you were in a driving rain from behind the tent, rain would definitely get through the gaps. But in all other cases I think this is a very nice addition. It has enough room to keep 4 pair of muddy shoes out of the tent. I would not keep food under it, but I don't allow food in the tent anyway. Nor would I cook under it.REAL big plus: You can roll this up with the tent and a ground sheet and all will fit in the tent's stuff sack.Now for the negatives: 1) practically useless thin tent pegs and 2) a small bag w/o attached close string. That is, the supplied bag was not a true stuff sack for the pegs.Do I recommend this to others with the Timberline tent? Definitely!Will I always use it on the tent? No. Using it will depend on anticipated weather. When cold or rain expected it will definitely be on my tent.Update:Since I wrote this review, I've used this vestibule on the back of my  Eureka! Timberline 4 - Tent (sleeps 4)  during a 2-week car camping outing. It came in handy for storing camp stove and fuel, as well as lantern and 5-gallon water container during the day. Kept the gear out of the hot sun and an over-heated car. Very nice to have.

It fits my tent. Colour is a little off but who cares. Works good, attaches to the top pole before rainfly is put on.

Excellent as all things Eureka are.
