ive had some terrible experiences with delivery of large furniture and appliances, but im happy to say this was delivered in perfect condition and placed where i asked. Didnt go with the unpack option just delivery to room of choice.The TV itself is excellent, great picture ( when watching hd videos on prime, my cable provider doesn’t seem to deliver quality as high).Sound is great, setup is OK just wish a lot of the features disnt require that you login to google first.Overall happy with this purchase

The TV itself is fantastic. In a light-controlled room, it doesn't even need to operate at full brightness to be bright enough. The speakers were definitely a surprise, they are much better than expected, though a soundbar will still sound significantly better.The TV by default comes with stands in the lowest position. If you need to use the stand raised, it'll require adjusting the screws on the stand.Caution to other buyers: DO NOT USE Amazon's "Deluxe" delivery and unpack services! They will touch the screen and get their fingerprints and oil all over the TV. They also won't be able to install the TV stands correctly. For my TV, the "Deluxe" unpack service folks swapped left/right legs installation, and left the TV upside down in my living room while rushing off to deliver the next TV.

Purchased 3 months ago. After weeks of non-stop research I decided to go with the A80L 65”. I’ll keep it simple, it’s the best picture quality I’ve seen out of all the tvs I’ve owned in my life. The way action scenes look, or how accurate colors are in colorful scenes, mind blowing. Trees, mountains, cars, shadows.. all look too real, astonishing. The game mode feature is one of the best, easiest & smoothest ones out there. It has many features that I believe will accommodate majority of gamers. Not really much to that. For tv speakers, it packs quite a little punch. I can tell that it’ll obviously sound better with a Sony Bravia soundbar, as the tv & soundbar sync into 1 system. But any good Dolby Atmos soundbar will/should be fine for most. The only negative thing I have to say is that, it doesn’t get very bright.. Some dark scenes are almost hard to make out, even at max brightness. Besides that no issues at all

Would have given it five stars, but I was unable to get the tv to control the onkyo receiver i have for my theatre system

The picture quality is very good as it should be for a tv of this priceThe problem is actually using it. The software it runs is absolutely horrible, I thought a high end tv would be easier to control than the cheap $100 tcl tv I used to have, but somehow its worse. Every time you turn it on theres a barrage of popups asking you to update software and set up ad personalization. Doing something simple like changing inputs requires 4-5 tries because it just keeps failing to switch and you have to keep trying again and again. The home page is full of apps i'll never use but there are no options to uninstall a lot of them so you're stuck with it all. It crashes and lags out constantly. And who knows how much data is being collected in the background.I'll just be running everything I watch on it through a usb stick or my xbox which solves some of these issues but its still very disappointing for such an expensive tv

I actually think this is my first Amazon review I've ever written.Like others have been saying, the quality of the picture on this thing is jaw dropping. As I've only had it for about five days, I'm finding myself distracted by the quality of the picture and not the content being delivered. Its really that good.I had no problems with brightness. In fact, the "vivid" mode is too bright, so I leave it on "cinema" which, by youtubers' reports, is more true-to-life representation of the source material.Google TV is perfect for our family and fits all of our needs.Only two points of disappointment: I wish there had more bass in the audio department. I had an old soundbar/woofer from my old setup, and while I could connect it to the TV via either optical or bluetooth, the audio was out of sync with the picture. Secondly, the "find my remote" function isn't working. This was a really nice perk I was looking forward to, but I simply cannot get it to work. Wife loses it in the couch all the time. I saw a software update for the remote come through, but I still can't get it to work. Hopefully, a future update will smooth this wrinkle out.BOTTOM LINE: It is worth every single red cent I paid for it, and more.

The Sony AAL performs as advertised phenomenal picture. Great sound for TV speakers best on any TV I’ve ever owned. Unless I am watching a movie, I can live without the soundbar. If you are placing the TV in a bright room You will need to have blinds or turn tv to vivid mode.

Replaced my 58” Samsung for my large living room. Couch is about 12.5 ft away from the tv and the technology they used to put speakers behind the screen is amazing. I’m so surprised need to use the external Bose speaker anymore. Blacks are dark and picture is amazing. Operating system is great too!

I think it's the best ever TV what you can buy. Qulity of picture is good. I've played on Play Station 5 and picture is incrediable. I didn't have any problem with TV or OS. If you are looking great TV for long period it will be perfect choice.

The tv is beautiful. Colours are bright and dark is really dark. Set up is easy. No comment on the smart features since I do not use the tv for such. But the VRR and other features are great for gaming. Helps smooth out games. I love that the tv itself is much thinner than LCD and generates less heat. Audio is also very good, louder than my previous LCD from 2016.

I have to say it even having Bose SB 900 the TV without it does the magic of surround sound the image quality is excellent depending on the streaming service and internet speed. A must is to add the Bravia Cam if you keep looking for the remote to control basic functions. Plus is help on maintaining the image quality depending on the room lighting and it can turn off TV if no one is in the room (Save energy)
