While the product description says it's great for a front bike bag, it's just not. It could sort of be used as a pannier, but *not* on your handlebars. It's kind of a cool little bag if you just want to carry it, but the straps (only two on the top, flimsy, hard to buckle and unbuckle...) don't let it mount in any way you can ride with. The bag flops around because there's no lower mounting strap; it hits my front wheel; the straps might have been good in 1959 when everything was a buckle... Even as a pannier, it would definitely flop because of limited mounting points. So, for forty-something dollars, I would *never* buy this bag. You can get something that you can put over your shoulder for way less.

This bag would be great and five stars except for one thing: the bicycle attachments. They are ultimately going to be useless. It is just thin leather supposed to attached to a rail on a bicycle back rack. I've been a bicycle rider for years. If those straps hold up for six months of daily bouncing and pounding riding on my bike I'd be quite surprised. It's going back. The size and everything else was OK but if I'm always afraid of it falling off my bike as I'm riding it becomes useless. There enough stress riding on the road with cars to also have to put up with anxiety over my bag as well.
