I bought the 2 pack of the 3 AMP HTRC battery charger intending to charge 12V AGM batteries. The brochure as well as on both of the chargers state AGM, and charging at either 6Volts or 12 Volt. Both chargers do not recognize the 12 Volt AGM charge capability even though that option is stated on the chargers and the brochures. The Mode switch does not allow manual switching to 12 volt AGM charging. These chargers are useless even though they're advertised for both 6 and 12 volt AGM charging capabilities.

I Installed the charger on a 12kw diesel generator. When I start the engine the charger freezes and stops working Even if I turn off the engine again, the charger still doesn't work.You have to disconnect it from the outlet and reconnect it for it to work, it shouldn't be like that, it should always be working

I bought the package of two units. The charger seems to work, but the case gets so hot both front and back that it can't be held. I'm afraid to leave it unattended. It cools off once the battery has reached full charge.

I got these for my husband for his deep cycle marine batteries and he loves them! They are easy to use and understand and charge great!

I've been using these to trickle charge my deep cycle 12v cell batteries for my RV. If the batteries are completely dead then these don't work. They can't recharge a dead battery. So if you have a completely dead battery then you're going to have to use more powerful charger from Walmart or harbor freight or wherever.But if I maintain the battery voltage at least 50% then these chargers will do their job nicely and recharge the battery up to 100%.
