Fantastic Foods Hummus Dip Mix 10 LB

I LOVE that you carry it bulk!!! I used to buy it bulk from a health food grocery store until we moved. I store in the freezer indefinitely- only it never seems to last too long.. Add a little water & whatever other ingredients you want for dip, add some spoonfuls to sauce pan of hot chicken stock or water & you have delish soup - I always add some parsley, etc - you can even use it as to make egg drop soup to kick up the nutrition a bit & you never know it’s in there.. you can also use it to make bread.. tortillas, flat bread..even flapjack pancake like bread for something quick with dinner. I love this!!!

I spent nearly $80 on 10 pounds of hummus mix that claims to be gluten free. When I received the package, it says under the ingredients in bold font: CONTAINS: SOY, WHEAT. I would post a photo, but it seems Amazon has recently disabled this function. Anyhow, I went to Fantastic World Foods website to look at ingredients. They have two hummus mixes on their website, one current, one discontinued, neither are the exact same ingredients as what I received, but mine is nearly identical to the discontinued mix. Both mixes on their website only say they are produced in factories with wheat etc., but neither say contains wheat. For the life of me, I'm not sure what ingredients on mine COULD contain wheat except maybe the ever mysterious natural flavor in the lemon powder. So here I sit in quarantine, with my mountain of questionable hummus. Do I eat it, since I can't see any ingredients I'm allergic to? Do I risk catching COVID-19 going to the post office to return it? What am I supposed to do here? All of this could have been avoided with proper labelling. Plus, it's more than a little disconcerting that the company's own website doesn't list these exact ingredients under their two different hummus mixes, is this a fake product or maybe it's a decade old? So many questions.

Tried some this from Whole Foods Bulk. Sooo easy and better than any ready made from stores. The ingredients all check out. Traveled 3 hrs to get some more and they have stopped carrying it. But I don’t need TEN pounds.
