Worked as described.

I used this tool on 4" schedule 40 PVC. 4.5" OD. About 30 pipes, both ends. It will chatter if held loosely at low speeds. At high speeds, held firmly, the cut is smooth and perfect. This tool cost about 1/3 as much as the other 4.5" chamfer tool and seems to be really well-made. Machined aluminum, threaded fastenings, 3 removeable blades. Pretty impressive.

Aggresive to the point I thought the pipe might chip the PVC pipe. I had to got fast on the rpms and real slow on the feed pressure to get this tool to work and it left a poor finish on the bevel. I ended up cleaning the cut this made with a 120 grit sanding flap disc on a right angle grinder. I would not reccomend this item for its advertised purpose.

Highly impressed with the build quality of this tool. It is made from a thick piece of machined aluminum, and it is anodized red. It has replaceable knife blades, but I have not looked to see where you buy the replacements.It only bevels the outside of 4" PVC pipe - which is unfortunate. Not a fault of the seller, but I assumed it would have the outside, and inside bevel blades. Both are required to do a correct install.This is a one use tool - only doing one side, and one size of pipe. I currently use a two sided bevel tool that is a little more convenient. This one would be ideal if it did both sides at once.It does bevel great - if you are installing a bunch of 4" drain pipe, it is a major time saver. Making perfect bevels over and over. You do need to be sure you are cutting your pipe square. I use a miter box for cutting 4", so that isn't an issue. However, if you cut with a reciprocating saw, you might not be square enough for this tool to be beneficial. Since it is machine to bevel square.

Works awesome new, pretty big bummer one can’t change the replaceable blades because you can’t find anywhere to buy them.

Makes nice beverages quickly, if spare blades were available would ne even better.

This beveling tool does not work as advertised, it is impossible to get a straight or even bevel with this tool, it may be a nice concept but does not work in practice. We made multiple attempts at beveling a 4" pvc with 2 experienced people and the results simply resulted in having to cut back the deformed end we had attempted on. I would send this item back but the return window closed before I had the chance to use it at the job site. Once possible reason, I could see with my naked eye that the blades were uneven and lacked a fine consistent edge. Another reason is that at least on Sched 40 PVC, this unit was not snug enough to cut evenly. DO NOT BUY

I am always working with PVC and SDR pipe as an excavator and over the past few years it seems like the quality of the pipe has gone down. I hate to sound old but they don't make pipe like they used to; it doest seem to slide together as well, even using excessive glue. I had hoped that this beveling/ demurring tool would help with that issue and I'm happy to report, it absolutely has! Very easy to use as, I always have a drill in my truck anyway. I typically bevel all of the pipe I need before bringing it to the job anyway. This tool has stayed sharp and proved to be a great addition to the toolbox. Great investment for the price for anyone who's working with pipe often. Very happy with this product.
