Petzl E78CHB 2 Headtorch Pixa 3 – Black/Yellow, One Size

I bought this about half a year ago, and it has been a great head torch and I've used it loads since buying.It has a rugged design that means I don't mind throwing it in the bottom of a bag with other tools thrown on top.I have used it on events outside in the dark and inside in the dark/dim areas - in all areas it has performed well for when I need it.I have also found it useful for precision work where I require some brighter light for working on something close to me even during day light.The batteries lasted me about 4 months which I was pleased with as I use it quite a lot.The only down side in my opinion is that the actual torch is quite large compared to other head torches I've seen , but it stays on my head sufficiently well.Overall a great bright rugged head torch that I would highly recommend.

This is a big, chunky head lamp but it's not heavy. It is exceptionally robust and well engineered. The switch is a simple three-position switch that can be readily operated with gloves. When stowed the lamp faces back on itself and locks the switch at the same time. This both protects the lamp and prevents accidental turn-on.The behaviour on power loss is well designed - the light is reduced to a usable but dim 'reserve' level which lasts several hours, whilst displaying a red warning light. Rated run times are for alkaline batteries, I get about twice that on low-self-discharge NiMH rechargeables.

A good solid designed work light that is adaptable to many situations. With three distinct modes of light it can offer a solution for close up or more distant viewing. It appears to offer a dependable unit which obviously time will tell but I currently feel quite confident.The only reason I haven't given it five stars was because I expected a little more power on maximum but what is there is good.

Gave it 5 stars and it says, ' I love it', and I do. Best head torch I ever bought, by far. Lasted very well with many a knock.Excellent quality, both LEDs do their jobs excellently. One for lighting up the immediate area for localised work and the other for looking at things off at a distance.I've used the word, 'excellent' twice and that'd be my summary. Excellent.Definitely recommended, well worth the money.

Tough and simple with a good light. Fairly heavy and bulky, but gives off a reassuring 'won't let you down' vibe. If weight and space aren't a big deal and you want a torch that feels like it will last for years, then this might just be it. Very happy with mine.

Was tempted to buy a head lamp for some time. I did a bit of research and came accross this one. Still purchased with some reulctance because how much am I going to actually use. Why spend so much? Well after receiveing the product I got to say what a great piece of kit. I can not imagine not finding this useful. The construction is very good and it feels durable. It is very comfortable when worn. I would recommend the purchase of this product. If you do close work only you can get away with Petzi Pixa 1... if you want beam choice go with 3 The 3 is more versital because it can be used for more applications such as walking etc.....

Very good, a little high on the price, fitted to my Petzl hard hat in seconds.easy to use, good selection of beams for different environments would recommend.

Wenn man eine Stirnlampe braucht die verlässlich ist und genug Licht produziert ist es genau die richtige Lampe. Hab viel China-Schrott probiert - spart es euch und kauft gleich was ordentliches. Sehr überzeugt auch wenn es etwas teurer ist.
