These pens write very well, the ink is nice and smooth without being a gel, so you don't have to worry about the ink smearing or smudging. I've only had them for a couple of days, but I have nothing bad to say about them. The original version of these with the light blue barrel was already one of my favorite pens and these are like an upgraded version of that.

So BIC, you got me this time. Well earned considering I’m always looking for the deal and searching for the only pen I ever write with. Yes, I only write with four color medium point pens. Just like any dude that wears an outfit, we are limited and what we can change out for variation, I’m grateful that Big has been creative and finding ergonomic solutions for the finger, pallets For the pen itself and also for the actual ink coming out.When I saw this product with its extra smooth writing capability, I got way too excited and purchased a box of 12. I’ve been trusted this product for so many years now that I didn’t even second-guess and taking some of the pens out and sharing them with my coworkers. After doing this, I finally took one for myself and Thankfully wrote and kept writing because it was such a pleasant feeling to have whatever this gel like ink, but still looks like a pen glide out ever so smoothly.If you’re looking to add your collection or physic the first Bic Pen you’ve ever written with, you won’t be disappointed. The pen delivers, the design looks really sexy, and I will not be buying another box or another pen until the price goes down.I really should look into therapy. I got these pens for my Bible study group. The pens have a gel-like ink. Unlike regular gel, they do not bleed through the pages, which is a huge plus for Bible study. The 4 colors are dark (or bright) and easy to read. One thing I noticed as I was taking notes in my notebook: The ink does tend to have those tiny gloppy dots as I write. It's not a big deal, but it is enough to be distracting, so I took off a star. All in all, these are great pens and it is wonderful to have 4 good colors in one barrel.

I love the new and improved ink! The old ones are tacky and you have to write hard, but these are very smooth and don't smudge! I am a nurse supervisor and these have quickly become my new favorite pen. They are ugly on the outside but I feel like that keeps people from taking them!I wish they would make the green ink more vibrant in all their pens and I really wish they'd add purple but it is what it is... A second pen with dark orange, purple, a vibrant fuschia/pink, and blue would be amazing!

Just got these. They're the same as they were 30 years ago.I took one out of the box. It wouldn't write! All of them dead!Well, of you're half blind like me, here's the issue.Every color has a little wax ball on the tip of the pen to keep it fresh. You can flick it off with a fingernail.Very smart, but it would be nice if they mentioned it on the package!Great pens. Old school. I grew up with these.

It’s a nice pen. I mean, who doesn’t know about the Bic four color pens. I didn’t really like that. The black ink comes out almost like a gel pen. Thankfully, it doesn’t smear., but I’m not a fan of gel ink. It’ll do what I needed to do. However, I wouldn’t buy this per my personal preference

I hate to say I'm a bit of a pen snob, but I guess I am. I used the original (blue and white split body pen) 4-color pen through 4 years of engineering school for some snazzy notes, despite the older pens' ink giving me some grief. I saw BIC offered an updated version, and had to give them a try of course.These new pens? OH MY LANTA. Absolute heaven!! Compared to the original pen, this ink is so silky smooth, the pen glides across the page, the ink colors are more vivid (especially red and green), and I like that the pen body is a bit more stylish/professional with 2-tone blue.Super happy I purchased, this new version. Nice price for (3) 4-color pens (equiv to 12 "individual pens")
