Well I got this for steamed broccoli/rice/cheese casserole for Thanksgiving, which is today mind you. First use, the handle came straight off while lifting the basket! Then all the broccoli fell into the water and I had to drain it using a colander, completely defeating the purpose of getting the steamer in the first place! Do not buy this piece of junk! I will not return it because it's not worth it. FAIL. Anyhoo, everything else turned out great and I'm not going to dwell on it. Just wanted to warn anyone else who may be considering this model because it could happen to you too. Lesson learned. I will probably end up putting a knotted twine through the middle to fix it when I have more time to spend on this, but I shouldn't have to especially since I haven't gotton any use out of it at all. Literally just took it out of the box yesterday. Beware.

1. The cool black plastic support at the center is of solid construction and feels sturdy as I removed my veggies from the pot.2. The handle is thoughtfully made and helps balance the load during removal.3. The expandable rack is larger than my old one and the steel is of good weight and construction.4. There are also 3 foldable legs that are padded so that I may use any inside finish without a scratch.5. The price is very reasonable.I expect to have this steamer for many years and I recommend it wholeheartedly.

My wife was looking for a new vegetable steamer after our one broke. This is a very good quality vegetable steamer and this one comes with legs (our previous one did not). it is very easy to open the steamer and close it. We have used it a few times already and have no issues with it. The handle also come out a little which is great because it makes it easier to hold/move. Overall it is a good product.

The feet aren't actually fastened to the body of the steamer. Rather, it seems a mounting bracket is punched onto the bottom. This lead to one foot falling off when the bracket came loose after less than 50 uses. Otherwise, the body of the steamer is sturdy and collapses to fit a variety of pots.

It says that the handle locks. Nothing locks: not the handle, not the feet, not the tray. Granted I could be doing something wrong, but I'm decently smart and there aren't many parts to this, it's not complicated. That being said, it's cheaper than the competition and the parts don't need to lock for it to work just fine. Steamed my broccoli successfully.

Easy to use, fits big pans for large amounts of food, Much better quality than the ones we have purchased out of the regular stores.

It works just fine except the legs don't stay open. So when I'm lowering the basket into the pot I have to hold a chopstick against one leg to keep it open. It's incredibly annoying. I should have spent a few more dollars and bought the OXO one.

This is an excellent steamer basket. I steam veggies daily and wanted a basket with a nice big center handle for easier handling. This one is perfect!

Loved the product. Can be adjusted to smaller or bigger size depending on the container size. Compressed size is very small whereas the expanded size is quite big. I already used it to boil dumplings. Very handy for quick steaming/boiling. Due to attractive design it can also be used for serving too. Only negative is the edges are sharp, not smooth enough.

Vegetables are so much tastier when they are steamed IMHO. Mashed steamed potatoes are absolutely delicious. The handle does fall off occasionally.

I have often had steamers....They have a natural lifespan....But this one is the nicest I have had.Nice easily gripped handle to take veggies out without burning your handNice wee legs to keep the veggies out of the water.Love itSmall things can add delight to the day!

Perfect size steam basket. Exactly what I needed. Great quality.

Larger than I thought it was, but none the less works very well. Will buy the smaller one as well. Good quality.
