The Demon Slayer sword is packaged in a disassembled state, but is pretty easy to put together. However (IMPORTANT: Make sure you read the instructions carefully before assembling, as once you connect all the pieces, it is impossible to dis-assemble again due to the design).The sword looks fantastic quality with nice details and even includes a scabbard to store when not in use. The sword states for children, but it's still pretty long/heavy so I would say it's suitable for children 6+ years old.The blade itself is very safe, it's wooden and high quality so should be resistant to knocks or hitting surfaces to a degree. If you had two, you could perform mock sword fights relatively safely however, it is solid wood, so hard knocks will hurt. The wood is semi-flexible but I wouldn't try to the degree shown in the photos.Build quality is decent. There is a little movement near the handle where it connects the blade but it still feels solid and secure.Ultimately I think this is much better as a toy than a lightsaber with electronic and hollow prone to cracking plastic. However it should be reserved as a gift for older children due to the fact it can still cause injury if used dangerously.
