I have bought these multiple times for my manufacturing area to absorb oil spills, and they function as expected great. These are a must have for any shop or manufacturing area. They have oil or solvent second spill on the floor and need to be absorbed quickly these are great for that application. I highly recommend these for the quality and absorption ability.

Good to keep around when you spill oil, these do a good job of soaking it up quick, easy to toss them into the spill to stop it spreading. Or you can line underneath drippy equipment. Will absorb any liquid, so you can get coolant or any chemical compatible with their material.

I have an older model John Deere garden tractor with a weeping hydrostatic transmission. I was using cardboard under it to soak up the drips but remembered Pig Mats from my old working days in the paper mill. I ordered these and have to say I am disappointed. Even doubling them up I was getting bleed through to the concrete floor so now I put one of them on top of a piece of cardboard. With that most of the Pig Mat remains dry except where the drip is and that soaks right through to the cardboard underneath. Cardboard (corrugated containerboard) does a much better job of wicking out the oil than the Pig Mat.

They used to be “5 Stars” thick and absorbent. Now they are 1/2 the thickness and less absorbent and the same price, which is actually twice the price! Not happy with PIG, thus only 2 stars. I’m sure there are other brands making a quality garage mat.

They do the job, but it takes more to get the job done. No like the old ones. Will buy again have no choice.

Absorbs oil and coolant. Throw them down use my boot to wipe up spills as well.

Impressed with the job these do! Absorb a lot of oil.
