Fit and function.
We like the bifocal sunglasses for their, fit, function, looks and value. We also liked the availability of three levels of reading strength. The quality approaches that of our Maui Jim sunglasses at a third of the cost. We have had the glasses for only a week so it's too soon to judge durability but the case is robust and we expect no problems. The glasses are used for every day use and boating. When fishing the reader portion is very useful for tying knots and dealing with all the things involved with fishing.Highly recommended.

So far they are great
Could not be happier, for the cost they are great. I gave sun protection a four because the lens do not completely keep out the sun, but I knew that when I ordered them. I actually need a 250 magnification which was not available but they do the job well with the next lower mgnification. It is really great to glance down and be able to easily read the gauges and info screen in my vehicles while wearing these. I've had them for a few weeks and so far they really seem to be of high quality, much better than I expected for the price. I don't think you'd be disappointed with these.

Very nice sunglasses--bifocal lens could be higher--compare well to Maui Jim Readers.
I'm a big Maui Jim fan (in general), but after losing two pair ($$ ouch) and not wanting to pay more than I should, I ran across these and decided to give them a shot. Upon receipt, I was pleasantly surprised! I compared them side-by-side to my Maui Jim Makahas, and fit was nearly identical (both very comfortable for full-size male). One reviewer here claimed that these were not polarized, but mine were polarized every bit as well as the far more expensive Maui Jim glasses, as evidenced by testing several reflections (rotate the glasses through 180 degrees while viewing a reflection off of a metal surface) and outdoor scenes/looking into water. I'm used to the Maui Rose lens color, so these green-ish lenses were not as nice--to me--as the Maui Jim lens color, but that's just personal preference, and they seemed to work just great as sunglasses, which is, after all, their purpose, so no deductions there. The only place I could find fault--and it's fairly minor--was with the bifocal portion of the lens. It worked well, and cannot be (easily) seen from the front of the lens, but I wish the bifocal portion would have extended up, higher on the lens. More on that in a moment. Now, if you have prescription bifocals with smooth gradient transition between the two lens strengths, these may be a bit of a surprise that in that they are a step-function (sharp transition) from near- to far-vision, and that may take some getting used to (Maui Jims are the same). And the bifocal portion is almost like a sticker add-on--you can feel a 'bump' where the bifocal portion is (just like Maui Jim readers). (I didn't try to peel it off to see if it was really a sticker or not, but it feels like it may be, although that's not a knock against the readers, as it is well-done and looks solid). Regarding the positioning of the reader lenses--and this is likely a personal preference thing, too--I wish the reader portion would have extended up higher on the lens. That is, when I'm driving, with my hear looking 'normally' forward (i.e. not tipped down nor up), the reader portion only covers the steering wheel horn (center of the steering wheel) on down--it does not cover any of the dashboard instrument cluster. Now, I can see the instrument cluster just fine without readers (although readers help slightly), but the issue comes when, at a red light and I check my phone, I have to really tip my head backwards so that the bottom reader-portion of the lens lines up with my phone screen. My preference would be to leave my head horizontal, and only redirect my eyes to look down at my phone screen (which is much more natural). And the only way to do that is to either push the glasses farther up my nose (uncomfortable and strange-looking), or move the reader lenses higher up on the main lenses. So, it's a bit of a bummer. I will say, however, that these are actually quite a bit _better_ than the Maui Jim readers in that regard, as the Maui Jim's have a far _smaller_ (and even lower on the lens) reader portion, meaning you almost have to look straight down at your chest to use the reader portion of the Makahas. Maybe it's just the way I wear my glasses, or hold my head while I'm driving...I don't know. All I know is that both of them are too low for me, although I appreciate the fact that you can get reader sunglasses, and especially at a great price. One suggestion that I just tried (with great success) was to take a pair of non-reader sunglasses, and add a reader-lens overlay Hydrotac Stick-on Bifocal Lenses (OPTX 20/20)- +1.75 Diopter to them, which can be positioned anywhere you like (within reason). Worked like a charm! No more head-tilting when reading a phone at stop-lights. (Just remember to pay attention and be respectful of other drivers when the light turns green again--be safe out there). Overall though, these are great sunglasses, and good alternatives to the more expensive Maui Jim readers. Thanks In Style Eyes!

Light weight, polarized, good fit, and good optical quality UPDATE coating failing after 6 months
Update 7/26/18The new pair I ordered came in but proved to be defective (the coating issue mentioned below that occurs over time happened to one lens but not the other after the first cleaning). I contacted customer service and within 12 hours they took care of it for me. I'm still standing with the 5 star review and adding the comment that their customer service and support is very fast, efficient, effective, and appears to genuinely have the interest of the customer top of mind. Thanks!Update 6/1/2018After two years of heavy daily use I'm having the same coating issue mentioned below. Also, there is a crack developing in the right lens where the nose piece connects the two lenses. I expect they will come apart soon. So I've just ordered another pair. I still standby my five star rating for the reasons discussed below.*********************************************************Original review: These are excellent light weight, polarized, bifocal sunglasses. I ordered one pair, and it has become my everyday sunglasses (I live in Hawaii and use them literally every day). After receiving the first pair I ordered a second pair that I keep as a spare in the car. Good fit, wrap around style, good optical quality. I recommend them.Update 6/24/16: After daily use for about six months the right lens appears to be losing it's coating. It has a noticeably scuffed appearance. On further examination it looks like both lenses are getting a bit scratched up as well. Still usable for now but I'll need to replace them soon.I'm standing by my five star review though because they've served me well and the price is still the best I can find for polarized readers.

The lens works perfectly [+1], e.g., for reading a smart phone after my cataract surgery.
The small bifocal lens is not limiting normal use as sunglasses., as it doesn't limit the forward view. The polarized lens eliminates glare and reflections during rain and at dusk. Perfect for driving. Also the wrap around glasses are a perfect wind, bug, and dust protection, when I ride my mountain bike and go fast. With the bifocals I can perfectly see close-up controls and mounted mobile phone screen, without having to even move my head.

Best sunglasses readers
I bought these sunglasses readers because I was tired of going between sunglasses and readers when parked waiting for my kids after school. These are perfect and I’m so happy I purchased them!!
