Kiwi Heel Savers Set, 3-Pack

Good product for protecting your sole and heel.One of the heel savers adhesion did not stick. I used a few drops of superglue which helped to secure it.

I like the value. Getting a shoe smith to place them on your shoe saves you a lot of money

Used the large pair of Kiwi Heel Savers to breathe life back into a pair of $99.00 Birkenstock sandals. Both heels were badly worn down to the cork on the outside edges. The Kiwi Heel savers have a peel away paper that reveals a self stick surface, and they have a staple that's about half way in and ready to tack down. They also come with little heel nails. I didnt want to use the nails - they'd probably have come thru the cork and into my foot. To ensure the Kiwi Heel savers stayed put, I applied Tear Mender liquid adhesive (available on Amazon), then tacked in the staple the rest of the way. Birk's are like new. Heel savers are staying in place and provide the repair/protection needed Next time I won't wait until the heels are so worn down before using Kiwi Heel savers!

These are okay heel savers, but don't expect them to last very long - maybe a couple of weeks. Putting them on is easy after you clean the heel so the adhesive sticks and then use the supplied small tacks with a tack hammer just as a cobbler would do. Each heel saver has an embedded staple that's useless because it always bends when I try to tap it in with a tack hammer and I wind up pulling it out and throwing it away. Unfortunately, I haven't found any other brand that is any better or longer lasting than these.Since these do wear fairly quickly, it's a good idea to check them every so often and replace them when needed and that's why I buy the 3-pack.

Great low cost alternative to save heels on my Birks.

These heel savers are smaller than I expected. They don't seem to offer much protection at all. I don't understand why they offer two different sizes for men and women since they are both extremely small.

I wear the outside edges of my shoes off, I installed these on a pair of Rockports and the wearing has subsided. Great product easy to install.

Softer material than I expected. Ended up using Gorilla glue to keep the heel saver attached
