Perfect fix for 2012 Cruze!
I purchased this item for my 2012 Chevy Cruze. While it does take a couple weeks to get it (all the way from China), the price is worth the wait; and it actually came a little early. This unit is easy to install; just make sure you watch a how-to video on YouTube beforehand as there are no instructions. You do not have to remove the lenses covering the light assembly, which is nice because the screws tend to be corroded and this doesn't come with replacements. The button takes a bit of effort to click into the housing so don't be afraid to push it in. The only thing that might throw one off is the bulb sockets. The part that twists into the housing socket is shaped differently than the OEM part you're replacing. It will look like they won't stay put but they will if you don't fiddle with them once they're secure. All in all this was a perfect fix: low cost, easy to install. Hopefully it lasts as long as the old one at least. On a side note, don't feel bad about it being Chinese; the original part was made in Asia too!

Worked like a charm
No problems putting these in, fit perfectly in my 2011 Chevy Cruze. It would be a HUGE plus if they came with new screws. The existing screws in my lights were completely rusted away, and I needed to get replacement ones on my own.

The only thing this should have came with are replacement screws. The original ones were rusted/seized to the housing. I had to drill them out and make a second trip to the parts store for screws.

Not recommended
Have to replace OEM reverse lenses because included bulb sockets are completely different (pain in the neck, all screws are rusted), switch wires exit side instead of the top, so they foul the chrome moulding badly. Fixed the problem, but don’t think it will last a winter

NOT LED LIGHT BULBS AS STATED
I purchased this trunk release switch with the license plate lamps specifically because they claimed they were "LED" however, upon inspection, they are just the regular, stock, 5W halogen bulbs. I could have purchased cheaper kits but I was willing to pay a little more to get LED bulbs. Not very satisfied.
