Works great for aches, (I've also included some tips that might help you out)
I use this most days in my gym, it works great for cracking your back however I also use it on my quads, calves, chest, abs and on the obliques too (side abs, under arms)Some tips I would have for you would be: Use this daily after a workout, the body is tensed after strength or cardio training and this is a good way to relieve tension and reduce the build up of knots. Another is that when rolling on your back, you can cross over your arms and grab each shoulder (with each opposite hand) to retract the scapula, this should usually give you some more clicks and will allow the roller to reach some spots that the shoulder blades were blocking. Finally, you can get someone to apply some pressure on your chest as you roll, this will allow the roller to give you a deeper roll.Overall this is great for back aches (in my opinion), people will be different however using this daily for most will provide them with more relaxed and more knot free back, chest and legs.(I also like to use a dryer ball for my feet, it acts like a little foam roller. You can see that it the photo)Let me know if this review was useful!

Soft and small bumps (not what I was looking for)
Not my favorite. Was going to return but the cost of shipping back is more than the price of the item. Note that I was looking for something quite "hard" with large protrusions. Expect the bumps to be very small and very soft. I have to apply all of my weight (45kg - agreed it is not much!) to actually start feeling a massage effect.

Bad
The worst attempt I have seen at a foam roller. I have five brands. Badly made Cheap. Will not last long.Plastic roll with soft bumps. Useless.
