Look to be well constructed and with the 12 month guarantee expect them to last well. Fit was generally good other than initially the tongue feels to long and presses into the front of my ankle when walking, going to try feeding the leather then rolling the tongue back and holding overnight with a peg to see if this eases the pressure before I try wearing them. Will update this review after I’ve put a few miles on them.Been wearing these for 3 weeks now and probably walked 30 miles or so in them; issue with tongue is resolved as tongue soon softened with some leather food and gentle encouragement. Comfortable with grippy sole that feels secure on wet tile floors on the underground. Quick wipe with a damp cloth is all they have needed so far to keep looking as new.

It is not easy to find a right pair of shoes for an eleven year old at all! Have looked everywhere & decided on this pair. The style is smart & reviews are not bad. Delivery is fast & the material looks good. Tried them on as soon as it arrives but the shoes are too big! Though the length of my boy’s feet fits the shoes ok but there is too much room inside the shoes & his toes are floating around... I tried them on myself & it fits an adult’s wide fit foot! Though it says children’s shoes but I think the sizing is too generous. I have to return them, what a pity!

I brought these in September for my son , he has dyspraxia and has insoles in his shoes to help with walking . They are the best school shoes I have ever brought him and true to size, and he says they are really comfortable and they still look like new and hardly any wear on soles and he walks to and from school every day 30 mins each way, we would normally be requiring a second pair by now . And I would just like to say thank you to Treads, my first order that got sent out went missing and they shipped another pair straight out . Would definitely recommend treads and would buy again.

I ordered a size 6.5-7 and got a size 7 with the option to remove an insole which would make them 7.5. Just be aware that the sizing advertised may be out so best clarify with the company before purchasing. The quality appears good though

Fabulous well made sturdy shoe.Recommend 100%.These shoes are PERFECT with an insole that can be removed to adjust width,been worn now 4 weeks and still look like the Day they were bought.☆☆☆☆☆😁Deffinatly buy again when there outgrown

I bought these go.my son, the self styled 'Master Destroyer' of shoes, so a 12 month warranty sounded sweet.The shoes themselves look great, sturdy and well made.Time will tell if they hold up to the rigours of 'The Master Destroyer"....ill keep you posted.9 months later....the shoes are in brilliant condition, and thanks to Treads sizing, they still fit him. When the time comes to get a new pair, I will definitely be buying these again. I cannot recommend Treads high enough, can I give 6 stars?

Size great but the foot hole was a little tight for my boy, but he didn't give it much chance as he has learning difficulties and likes to stick with the same shoe, cant fault these shoes otherwise

4th pair of these shoes I have brought for my son as school shoes, each time feet grow out of shoes, so next size required. My son's feet grow but shoes are still in good condition, plus they are hard wearing and take the punishment of my son playing footie in school grounds in them. So on the whole as described indestructible and perfect active school boys.
