This wine aerator is brilliant. Sceptical of the benefit we did a taste test and it really works! It nows forms a permanent part of our wine kit, which includes a good bottle opener and a vacuum kit for resealing part-used bottles.

It does quite a lot to soften the tannins on a lot of red wines, and improves the taste quite noticeably. Only drawback is that it will take a surprisingly long time to pour a glass of wine

This is the second Blade decanter we have owned and love it because it works! Portable and stays in the bottle while you pour. We had the first one for about 8 years but it was eventually dropped onto a stone tile floor and cracked the clear end portion a bit. Still works but looks a little worse for wear so was time a new one.

If you want a wine aerator this is THE ONE to buy! It's not flashy but does the best job of actually aerating the wine! My buddies and I have owned a bunch of alternative decanters - most of which were made of glass and/or had a much more appealing look. Their problem was that after you poured a glass you had to set it down on the counter and wine would drip all over. They also only did a nice job. This fits into the bottle (no mess) and really divides the flow, adding oxygen as you pour. The other decanters look the part and are aesthetically pleasing - this decanter FUNCTIONS best!

Ich hatte meiner Freundin bereits ein Wine Blade Set geschenkt, mit Blade, Korkenzieher, Vakuumpumpe, dazu bereits eine sehr gute Bewertung abgegeben, ich finde das Teil super. Auch der Korkenzieher ist genial einfach, aber effektiv funktionierend. Der Blade Aerator macht meiner Erachtens sehr viel effektiver, was früher der klobige Dekantierkolben erledigen sollte. Jetzt wird der Wein beim Eingiessen direkt 'beatmet' und zwar nur soviel wie eingeschenkt wird, Ich muss keinen Liter im Unverstand trinken, nur weil ich ihn in den Dekantierkolben gegossen hatte, ganz zu schwiegen vom Umstand so einen Dekantierkolben (anders nenne ich diese unnützen Dinger nicht mehr) hinterher wieder sauber zu bekommen.Der Blade hinterliess vor ein paar Tagen beim Umtrunk auch bei Freunden einen super Eindruck. Also habe ich noch zwei bestellt als Geburtstagsgeschenk für einen dieser Besucher.
