Fit as expected. Seem to be good quality. Several k miles on them so far.

Easy install, working great so far.

These axels do not articulate as they should. Put one on my 1999 k3500 and the axel binds up when the truck is on jack stands. Put the weight on the suspension it will spin correctly. This is on a stock truck installed correctly. They try to blame the installation. I’m a mechanic of 30+ years. I purchased two. I only ask to return one since they are defective and they say there will be restocking fees (for a defective item). I ask how much the restocking fee is. They refuse to say until they actually have the item in their hand. Very shady response. I shouldn’t have to pay a restocking fee on an unopened item that’s defective. I will never do business with Detroit Axel again!!

It's difficult to do a review of these things until after several years, but so far so good. I've had my '99 Sierra 2500 4WD since 2002, and this is the third pair of axles I've installed.Once the boots dry out and crack it's all downhill, maybe there is some way to lube the boots and keep them pliable?These felt as heavy as the set I removed, so hopefully I'll get 70 or 80,000 miles out of them.
