Don't trust it
If you need to trust your life to a flashlight, don't buy an Olight. This is my second Olight ever and it's just as poorly designed as the first S10R II Baton. The light is extremely well built, feels great and is incredible when it works. The magnetic tail cap can be bridged with some sort of conductive metal and will short the light out causing it to turn on without actually pressing the switch. Don't believe me? Grab your pocket knife and try it. I saw a YouTube video and it took me about 30 seconds to replicate. Also, for some reason whenever the light sits for an extended period of time (over night) the side switch dies and will not turn on the light until I press the tail switch, blasting out 1000 lumens. Then the side switch functions as it should. And no, the light is not locked because if it was, the tail switch wouldn't work either.Olights customer service is also pathetic. They don't answer their phones and their voicemail is "full" no matter who you call, customer service (option 3) or warranty (option 1) kind of ironic that warranty is their first option....Like I said, if you need a light you can count on, do yourself a favor and buy a Fenix. I have over 15 of them and have NEVER had to send one back in for warranty. Ever.Olight is absolute trash.

A strong yet versatile light in a pocket configuration.
I use this light for my everyday carry. When you need the full output, it's always there in standard or strobe mode thru the tailcap button. There is a small button switch on the side about an inch behind the bezel that can provide the other outputs. Hold it in for 2 seconds and you get "moonlight mode, ~5 lumens. Click and the light comes back on at the last used setting. Press and hold again, and it cycles thru 4 settings, all short of full power. A very well thought out and implemented system. The belt clip is both reversible and can be placed on a groove at the back or towards the front of the light. The charger is ingenious. Plug the ~1' cord into any cell phone charger USB port and the other end magnetically attaches to the back of the light and begins charging. A little LED where the wire enters the charging head changes from red to green when charged. Throw and spill are about equal and intensity is what you would expect from a 1500 lumen output. I own many Surefires but this is the smallest most versatile light I've owned yet. Construction is flawless. The only unknown is its durability. I have no experience with Olight customer service.

Well thought out. Nice fit and finish. Great feel in your hand, and yes 1500 lumens is bright. Very compact. And highly water resistant.

Please read this before you buy a Olight product!!
Okay I thought I would switch up from thrunite and by an Olight. Let me start off by saying the m2r warrior is a good flashlight. Nice design and looks like heavy duty. But I realized that Olights are way overpriced . And if you read some of the reviews you're not very good! I'm not putting down the product. But it has a magnetic charger that is really cheap and feels like it's going to fall apart sound and replace them are 15 bucks on Amazon. And this is the only like that is not a proprietary battery all their other products have a proprietary battery and charger that you have to buy from a light when they wear out ! They need to get away from that that's kind of a deal-breaker for me. No more flashlight from this company. Think of it this way you can buy 2 thrunite products cheaper and you can buy the m2r warrior. Check out the TC 15 from thrunite you won't regret it! So for you people that like to spend money good luck! And I bet their five-year warranty is a joke!

Great light horrible pocket clip.
I carried a Fenix pd32 for 8 year and loved that flashlight! Today I had to go back too it. I bought this as a replacement and for the month I had it was extremely happy with it except for one thing, the pocket clip. Yesterday I was driving my jeep with the doors off for the first time this season. At some point I took my seat belt off, the clip got caught in the belt and pulled the light from my pocket without my knowledge I went back and searched everywhere I went yesterday and was unable to find it. So now here I am short the $80 I paid for it and the light its self. So if you do get one becareful with the clip!

Donโt buy-Multiple problems!
When I can get the light to work its and awesome light. I have never dropped this light or damaged it but you have to wiggle the tail cap for some reason for the light to come on.

Nice light. 1500 Lumen in a small package. Great EDC. Seemed it should be brighter.
