I will never, ever go back to a wimpy, disgusting loofah.Enter the African net sponge. These are washable, reusable, and last a really long time. They lather up beautifully and can easily be used to scrub *everything*, including your back, in between your toes, and all up in your business. The texture of these is such that it will exfoliate, but not scrape up and damage your skin. It's very satisfying to lather one up and scrub scrub scrub; your skin comes out so soft!Despite showering daily and having "good" hygiene, I have spent my whole life suffering from acne, itching, redness, dryness, eczema, and chronic skin problems. Like many women, I've blamed all of those issues on being allergic to soap and sensitive to fragrance, when the truth is this. I wasn't exfoliating properly, I wasn't moisturizing properly, and ultimately, I wasn't getting clean.Since I started using an African net sponge, all of those problems have gone away. I lather up with a good quality moisturizing body wash (usually Dove) and scrub everything. Then I will either use a sugar scrub OR do a second scrub using the net sponge with a smell-good body wash (my current favorite is from Trader Joes). Double cleansing + exfoliation, followed up with instant moisture (lotion or body oil WHILE You are still wet) is a game changer.I would be remiss not to mention that I learned about this from Black women! They know what's up!Do not mistake this for a loofah or other type of fabric scrub. You want the real deal. Loofahs harbor bacteria (because they never dry out), and knockoffs don't have the same properties when it comes to exfoliation. African Net Sponges have large loops, are very long and stretchy, fully dry between uses, and can go in the washing machine.

Probably the best net sponge I've ever used. I HAS the knots. I switched out my Korean net sponge .August 1st 2025 and I've been using it for the past few days. I can already see my skin texture improvements. I have KP / strawberry skin and it has helped the roughness. This is better than the Korean version. Lathers soap, both liquid and bar, very well. You don't have to use much. Very long and if has 2 strings. You can reach your back easily. Dries fast and easy wash out.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I normally use a natural loofah, which I still love, but wanted to switch it up with my shower routine. I read about African Net Sponges and decided to go for this one. Be careful, as you need to make sure they are authentic and that is how they are designed/created. I LOVE this product as it exfoliates my skin so well, it's long enough so I can scrub my back, and it holds my product well so I can lather everything on. My Loofah would often absorb the product, so I needed to add more. It is authentic, comes with 2 sponges and a travel bag. Also, I love how quickly it dries overnight. My routine with/ the sponge: First, an antibacterial soap (Dial) & then a good-smelling body wash to finish. My skin feels so smooth when I am done, and then I lotion up, and it is chef's kiss!

I love my African Net Sponge. It is still soft while doing a great job exfoliating. I LOVE how big it stretches out, it’s perfect for scrubbing your bag. It rinses really easily, and I hang it do dry. I’ve bern using it for a few months and it is holding up really well. I’ve never felt so clean!!

I thought it was the actual net and not a sponge. I read the description wrong. It’s good to use on the skin though.

-Requires very little product! Lathers like crazy so just a bit will cover your entire body.-SOFT like butter! Takes whatever crappy soap you're using and makes it so silky soft. Especially nice in weird hotels/motels.-Feels amazing on your skin! I was using a crappy knock off before and it was scratchy (which I like but my husband loathes). This is just firm enough to exfoliate your skin, but soft enough to feel like heaven on your body.-Stretches! Will actually cover your entire body & now you can reach all those impossible spots like the middle of your back.-Washes out clean! Unlike a loofa, your rinse it out thoroughly to clean and then hang it up to dry and come back to a perfectly clean, practically-new sponge.

I really like the quality of the loofah, I like how it foliate my skin when I take a shower.

Works fantastic - I have mobility issues and getting my back clean with a regular washcloth was painful and difficult. This makes it so easy and comfortable. Easy to use, clean and looks pretty too!!
