Great Intimate Groomer. Safe, Light and Easy to Use. Awful instructions.
I have been wet shaving my pubic area including my scrotum for years and saw this item on offer so thought I’d give it a try. I’ve now been using it daily for about 8 weeks and am very pleased with its performance, it does not give as close a shave as wet so I have had to use it daily rather than wet shave every two to three days. It copes well with longer hair too as I have trimmed previously unshaven areas. There has been no skin irritation and no skin nicks, always a risk when wet shaving. I have found that it works best as a dry shaver, although it is waterproof so can be used in the shower, I tried this once and wasn’t impressed as I found it more difficult to use. Its light weight and small size make it easy to use in restricted areas and the blade design makes it safe to use in areas where it is difficult to see what you are doing.Replacement blades seem expensive but are said to last 3 - 4 months, so overall will be cheaper than the multi blade blades and shaving foam I have been using to wet shave.I charge for 2 - 3 hours every 3 or so days which seems to work. There is a light which shows it is on charge but nothing in the instructions to say whether this goes out or changes colour when fully charged, so as there is no battery charge indicator either it’s all guesswork. My big gripe, the USB charging cable is non standard so yet another cable to store, why oh why not a standard fitting at the device end?

Brilliant machine, no cuts
Previously used a remington delicates trimmer which has rave reviews. I prefer this, first time I've ever felt comfortable with my "delicates" using this and not feeling any fear of a cut which is an absolutely great outcome given how cheap this is compared to other popular brands. 5/5, light, easy to use and safe.

Fantastic purchase
I've tried wetshaving my intimate areas with a manual razor, and also tried using a much more expensive and chunky trimmer. Each method has it's drawbacks and benefits. Finally, I've found a product that works for me.Quality and closeness of shave is fantastic, and I find I can shave my intimate area in half the time it previously took. Small form factor makes it easy to manoeuvre and trim hard to reach/see areas, but at the same time it isn't so small that it's hard to grip (I am STILL talking about the trimmer).I like the ease of changing the blade itself, no they aren't cheap but it is better than purchasing a whole new razer/trimmer.Very happy with this purchase and I would recommend anyone who isn't happy with their current trimmer to give it a try.

Old reliable
Bought this 2 years ago and I've been using it very frequently to do my whole body (except face and private parts where my skin is too sensitive) and it's still as good as new.Quick to charge and holds charge well, allows me to get a pretty close shave without using a razor, and faster than shaving with a razor.I clean it with water and soap after every use, which at first I was a bit worried might cause issues but I've never had a problem with it.I'm prone to ingrown hairs and i have very sensitive skin and this doesn't cause more ingrown hairs than any other hair removal method, nor does it cause skin irritation.Highly recommend.

Not sure this is worth it.
Not the closest shave and it's quite noisy. It is light weight and doesn't feed that sturdy. Hopefully it doesn't fall apart quickly. So far I don't think this is good value for money.

Super Safe Intimate Shaver
Really close, safe dry shaver, leaves no after-rash and if you leave on the provided protective white safety cover, you get no cuts or nicks when used on really sensitive intimate areas.Game Changer for Intimate Shaving.

Good, but not fantastic
So, I've had this for a long while now (purchased late 2019) and never got around to writing a review, so here we go. I will preface by saying that I specifically purchased this product for the nether regions and that I am a man. This thing is definitely good, especially for the price-point, more-so when considering that the much-advertised "Manscaped" trimmer goes for almost triple the cost of this and you can still nick yourself.Because of the design of the blade/foil on the Philips, the likelihood of you cutting or nicking yourself is basically nil, as the foil is smooth and the blade is on the outer edge. However, the downside to this design is that I find it really does not like to deal with long hair. Before I give-out "too much information", I'll just say that I am a very hairy man all over and my hair grows back pretty darn quickly; I pretty much sport 2 beards, if you get my drift. The first time I did a once-over with this trimmer, I'd honestly say it took me well over an hour, if not 2 hours, to get the nether regions to a smooth finish. I didn't do an initial trim with my other trimmers as I would have no doubt nicked myself to oblivion, almost making this purchase a pointless one.It was constantly getting bogged down, requiring me to turn it off, remove the blade to clean it out, then put it all back together to use it again (then again, it isn't meant for "beards").Even on hair that was trimmed every month or so (about 1/3rd of the initial length), it would still get clogged-up and therefore take me a long, long time to get a smooth finish. Now, because of the fact that I should replace the blade (should have done a while ago), it really doesn't like cutting anything over 1-2cm in length. On the topic of the blades, they are pricey. £15 per blade, which is essentially half of the price of the entire kit here on Amazon, which I think is ridiculous.Overall, if you keep yourself regularly trimmed downstairs and want something cheap for easy and pain-free upkeep, this is a really good purchase. If you're more like me and want something that will allow a full-shave, due to fast-growing hair or because of laziness to upkeep, you might want to look at the newer 5000 series or even the 7000 series.
