Love this hat. Looks very stylish. All the colors are a nice flavor of black. For this hat, the colors and the style of everything about the hat (the shape etc) are so harmonious and nice that you could wear it on any occasion. Looks very nice and sophisticated with a European feel to it. The quality is fantastic, cannot be better. While a woman can wear it and look stylishly feminine, a man can wear it and look good and a bit "Marlon Brando" with the right attitude. There's just that something about this hat.The touch of the fabric is great. While the shape is distinctive, I feel anyone can wear this hat without appearing to kowtow to any particular culture, or vocation (except maybe Greek seamanship), club, politics or nationality. (For example: I love cowboy hats too with their pleasant wavy brims, because they are so unique, but since I am not from the mid-west and also not an American and I am from an ancient land from the east, I cannot wear it in public in NYC, because I feel people will question me why I am wearing a cowboy hat when I am not a cowboy, having only seen a true one in movies...... quite unfortunate times).But with this hat, people will not easily "place" you.These classic styles of hats are transcendental. They are uncommon and so they catch the attentions of passersby, but in a pleasantly surprised way.At home, you can just look at the hat and feel good because its fabric and it is shape look luxurious.By the way, this hat is the least expensive of Sterkowski hats, but they are as good as any quality hat you can buy. It is premium quality at a good price. Poland obviously makes great hats and I am happy that now I own one from there.

Stylish casual hat that doesn't crush one's hairstyle and looks great (per compliments received). After I saw my husband's hat, I got my own. Keeps my head warm and keeps the rain off my head and off my face (visor is just wide enough).

Delivery was prompt. I certainly like this style, which Sterkowski's site calls "Melton Wool Greek Fisherman Cap" instead of "Warm Wool Blend Petersham Fiddler Cap". However, it's too small for me in my measured size. The fabric is tightly woven and shaped so stretching wouldn't be possible. The size one cm larger is currently sold out. I wonder if it would fit two cm larger as another reviewer suggested.

Well-made, comfortable and just different enough. This is a perfect winter cap and should hold up well, as the wool is pretty thick and the lining is pretty stout, too. I ordered my normal size, and it fits comfortably, “If I were a rich man”

Love the hat! Great quality and great price. I debated the size and chose one size up from what I originally thought the best fit, but I'm still very satisfied. The hat rides a big low but it looks great and it'll keep the tips of my ears warm to boot!

I have gotten used to being called captain, but I love this hat. Warm, fits perfectly, good looking. Though you might get the occasional comrade or fiddler joke.
