This mascara does exactly what you’d hope for at a drugstore price. It lengthens and separates lashes really nicely without clumping, and gives a clean, defined look. Definitely one of the better ones I’ve tried in this price range.Application & Results:The wand makes it easy to coat all the lashes, even the smaller ones, and it builds up well without looking heavy. Lashes look longer and lifted straight away. The only slight downside is that it doesn’t always last the whole day, so you might need a top up if you’re going from morning through to night.Quality & Value:For the price it’s excellent value. I recently tried the Maybelline Sky High Mascara in the shade Very Black, and I must say it lives up to its name. I have naturally straight, medium-length lashes, and I’ve always struggled to find a mascara that gives both length and volume without clumping or weighing my lashes down. This one surprised me!The brush is flexible and shaped perfectly to catch even the tiniest corner lashes. From the first coat, I noticed an instant lift and separation. After the second coat, my lashes looked noticeably longer and fuller — almost like I was wearing natural falsies, but without the hassle.What really stood out to me is the formula. It’s infused with bamboo extract and fibres, which makes it feel very lightweight on the lashes. Even after wearing it all day, I experienced no smudging, flaking, or irritation, and it was easy to remove with a gentle cleanser. I also have sensitive eyes and sometimes wear contacts, but this mascara didn’t cause any discomfort at all.One small downside is that if you apply more than two thick coats, it can make the lashes feel slightly stiff. So I recommend building it up gradually for the best effect. Also, the packaging is very basic-looking, but the performance totally makes up for it.Overall, this is one of the best drugstore mascaras I’ve used — and I’ve tried many! It delivers beautiful, fluttery lashes that hold all day. Highly recommended if you want bold length and volume without the clumps or smears.

Arrived with no security seal on it (which was concerning) and a little disappointed bought after reading the reviews and feel like it clumps my eyelashes a little

Best burgundy mascara so far! So I did give a couple of smaller brands a chance before ordering from Maybelline but honestly, sometimes brands get big for a reason. There's plenty of product in the tube and the applicator's the best I've seen on the market in a while - it leaves your lashes perfectly separated and curly, no clumpiness, no accidental panda eyes, no struggle to pick up product from the tube.With that said, a couple of things to keep in mind:1. While the mascara looks a lovely purple colour in the tube, it will dry looking somewhat black (not a huge issue on my end but good to know)2. It doesn't do as well on top of lash primer. While the applicator will work wonders on your bare lashes, if you use primer like I do most days, you'll need plenty of extra time and patience to ensure a good level of coverageHowever, even with the above in mind, I would definitely recommend. :)

Nice enough mascara which enhance the lashes, but it smudges just like any other one
