Petote Katie Pet Carrier, Tangerine Orange

Love the look of this bag. Leather exterior, vinyl interior. Can easily take my puppy into any establishment without an eyebrow raised because it looks like a purse. However, there is not enough ventilation and that is DANGEROUS!!! We had our little 3 pound fur baby in and out of the purse one afternoon in Florida and although we made sure we took him out often (like every 15-20 minutes) and made sure he had plenty of opportunities to drink water, he started acting funny. We thought he felt too warm but only for fleeting moments. We finally put two-and-two together and realized he only felt warm when we first took him out of the bag but quickly returned to normal. He started throwing up, which he had never done before, and we decided this bag is not for him!! Too small of ventilation patches on both sides and no other ventilation.The bag also flops over on the side with the puppy in it because the leather is heavy and the bag is tall.Have already used so I can't return, but worth wasting the money to discard it and prevent any future overheating for my puppy or any other dog.

Was sent crocodile embossed leather rather than the smooth leather that was pictured. Will be returning.Pros: Nice color, pup seemed comfortable in bag even though I would have preferred more roomCons: Leather stiff and feels like a suitcase, short stiff handles make it uncomfortable to hold, too heavy to carry for even short periods, no window openings for dog to peek out, zipper sticks and doesn't seem like sufficient ventilation

My favorite bag! I don't usually write reviews but felt compelled to do so after reading the only review for this bag. I have a service animal ,medical alert, 10 years old. I carry her everywhere and am so tired of bulky bags that are awkward to carry.This is genuine butter soft leather. It folds down easily and is so soft against you and your sweet pet. You can feel your baby next to you verses a hard shell that is awkward. I love the way you can throw the fleece cover into machine and wash it quicklyThis bag is so comfortable on your shoulder no bulky straps to place around your neck. A simple elegant beautiful smell free bag is what I received. The cobalt blue is stunning . While walking through Carmel California , I was stopped over and over again , I could have sold my bag on the spot! It is a quality buttersoft leather that has survived a long trip right out of the box! Highly recommend. .i have been looking for this bag for 10 years.
