Basic , cheap but fell apart on first use.
Basic set of scissors , cheap in price and quality unfortunately. Scissors fell apart on first use , needed to be reassembled several times. Not really up for the job for my bouvier des Flanders’s double coated / long haired dog.

I haven't given 5 stars because I don't have this set long enough yet. But do far I'm very impressed. We got them for a Newfoundland so there's lots of hair to contend with! Really good quality, the comb is unreal! I've mostly used the curves scissors to remove any matted hair and it's so strong and easy to use. If it stands the test of time, I'll be changing this to 5 stars

Good product, however..
I like the case these scissors come in, and they're actually sharp and made out of good quality metal. The comb is great too.My main issue is that two of the scissors (one of the 'normal' and the thinning ones) won't actually cut as there are a couple of nicks in the blades preventing them from closing.Luckily one of the perfect ones is the main type I need for tidying up my long haired dogs' feet, and it does a great job, comfortable to use, close, precise cut.I haven't tried a file on them yet, but I'm guessing filing is going to make those parts of the blade dull, so not overly impressed on that side.Without that issue, I'd be giving a 5 star.

Cheap and one doesn’t cut at all. I wouldn’t risk it
These scissors appear to be the same as all the similar looking ones on Amazon. All look like they came out of the same factory.These are cheap and in my opinion they feel it. Although the cutting action on three standard scissors seems ok. The thinning scissors are useless. Don’t cut at all.Sending back to China is not an option so it’s a gamble purchase.If it’s for a one off, then go for it.If you want to buy quality scissors, then these are not for you.Will be raising with Amazon as it appears that they are happy to sell cheap rubbish to make a fast buck...and lots of us accept this..Contacted the seller. They demanded a picture. Raise a return then I had to pay postage. You can imagine my anger.Instigated the A to Z guarantee and got a refund from Amazon. NOT THE VENDOR Spiritual love.After a week or so they offered 50% off as a refund but that was a day late and a dollar short....referred them to Amazon.Moral of this story.. stuff from these kind of sellers is cheap for a reason. Return postage is quite expensive so cost prohibitive to return.Personally I will never use a vendor like this again. Lesson learnt.Gave 1 * because three seem ok.

Excellent value for money, a good buy.
Very nice to use, lovely and sharpe. I particularly like the curved sisscors, they add a nice shape to the dogs face with ease. The thinning sisscors are great, they add a natural touch and to make it less obvious the dogs just had a trim.The inner blue plastic grips came off within minutes of use, fortunately that made no difference to the performance or comfort of the sisscors.
