It worked very well releasing the Shark Bite fittings

The tool did work to remove a Sharkbite elbow. The elbow was a different brand and had a casted support flange on the inside of the elbow. This meant you had to make sure the tool was utilized in line with the flange support as it would interfere placing it to the left or right. This could be a problem in a tight space. Fortunately I was able to position it and the elbow released with ease. Just a little heads up for anyone buying this or other quick release plier. I like this tool and am rating 4/5 because of the flange issue. But this will happen with any of these type of pliers.

I have all 3 tools that do the job and this tool is easiest and fast on Copper or Pex pipe.

Great product for the price and service exemplary! This is a necessary plumbing product as It will save a lot of time and money later. This tool allows you to remove shark bite connectors; why I never had one, who knows,but I do now and love it!

I tried the U shaped tool to separate the insert from a 3/4" Sharkbite valve, but I was never able to do it. I tried for hours using the U shaped tool, and i did not have enough strength in my hand to separate it. But, upon receiving this new tool I was able close the tool handles easily to separate the insert from the Sharkbite valve in seconds. Thank you
