Lee Men's Big & Tall Dungarees Performance Cargo Short

UPDATE 7/14/17:Purchased the blue steel (lol, Zoolander) color in these on Prime Day. These are still my husbands favorite shorts. The shorts are thin, lightweight material, almost like gym shorts. There's elastic on the sides of the waistband. Velcro closures for the pockets. A hidden pocket behind the left cargo pocket. A snap button closure.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Last year, I purchased 2 pairs of these (black and gray) shorts for my husband. My husband is 6'0, 275# and pear shaped. He's between a 48-50" in pants and shorts. He carries his weight in his midsection and hips. These fit great on him, and he says they are a bit loose in the waist. They come right by above his knees. Pockets are deep. The material is light, breathable, and they quickly dry. They are very versatile shorts, and he's worn them to parties and for working on his car. Husband approved.**In my picture the gunsmoke color looks brownish. But it isn't, it's more of a charcoal (dark gray) color.*not sure why my review is coming up as Vine. Vine never sent me these shorts. I purchased all 3 shorts.

As I don't trust "Vine" reviews, I figured I'd share my thoughts on the shorts. I've been purchasing the "Wyoming" shorts from Lee for years now and I love them. The fit of these shorts is exactly like that of the Wyoming. The shorts are constructed of a material similar to some higher end Nike basketball shorts. The material is both light and flexible but has a nice rugged texture that gives me the impression they will hold up to some abuse. If this fails to be the case, I will edit this review. The waste band has a couple of elastic sections that will stretch if needed. It also has the typical belt loops and a snap button. The zipper is a bit less beefy than what you will find on the Wyoming shorts but does not feel cheap. The side pockets are deep and the cargo pockets are functional and utilize velcro to secure. These do not come with a belt. The only external branding is a small logo sewn into the right rear pocket (maybe a 1''x.5''). The inner rear waste band has an ironed on "Lee Dungarees" logo that you can't feel while wearing them. I purchased these shorts for work as an alternative to the Wyomings and feel they will do the trick.tldr; Fit and look like Wyoming Lee shorts but feel like athletic shorts. Would recommend.

Lee has long been one of my go to brands for big and tall shorts. These are extremely lightweight with material that feels more like swim trunks without the cheap look. Just so you know. I'm 6'3" about 340 pounds and I love these. Plenty of room in the crotch to keep my sack swinging free but not baggy and sloppy looking. The waist does expand slightly and is very comfortable with a snap button in the front. Plenty of cargo pocket space held with velcro which I like more than buttons for easy access. Like everything for big guys you absolutely need a belt and a shirt with proper length or else you risk showing some plumber's crack if you sit in a bar stool or low chair. As far as length, these come to the middle of my knee. You can wear these with a polo or t-shirt no problem and look nice. I will definitely buy more. Very happy with this purchase!!!!

These are really great for large guys shorts. Most shorts run too tight even at their biggest size. These seemed to me to run a little big. I wear in some shorts a size 50, but in these 46 maybe a 44. But who knows if my 50's are even 50's at all. I tried 48 and they were too big, so I tried a 46 and even those might be a little big. Im ordering some 44's to see if that is right. They are lightweight, but still not super light weight for the desert SW. But only options for men. Color and selection is really limited. It looks to me like they are not going to keep making these, which would suck since it's really the only option for this style of shorts in large sizes.

Love these shorts , I haven’t had them long so not sure about durability, but they are amazingly light and breathable. I bought some for summer rounds of golf and couldn’t be happier! Also the stretch band sides are a nice touch for people who don’t like belts or a more adjustable waste. I got a size 46 at first expecting them to be tight like regular khaki shorts but ended up going with the 44s which is dead on my normal sizing, lots of thigh room as they are NOT a slim fit style.

I have run into this issue before when it comes to some companies attempting to sell big and tall clothing. The simply do not understand the fit required for a big man. The cut leaves no crotch room, and the back rides low. I'll stick with King Size or JC Penney from now on. It's sad, because the material and construction are good. It just doesn't fit.

Awesome product. This was my first product with this material. Very light, comfortable, cool and breathable. These shorts can go from casual summer wear with a t-shirt to business professional with a button down shirt.Highly recommend. I'll be buying more.Also two thumbs up for selling Big and Tall clothing without doubling or tripling the price like the brick and mortar Big and Tall specialty stores do.

This is the fifth pair of these shorts I have purchased in the past two years. These fit great (cut a tiny bit large but being a big guy I like that) and are extremely comfortable and cool. They stretch and "give" with you when you move - come out of the dryer ready to wear - no ironing needed. Love the smart phone holster built in to the left side cargo pocket (plus you can still put stuff in the cargo pocket). Seem to be a quality build - have had zero problems with the shorts I own - Note the heathered color shorts seem to have a somewhat different type of fabric from the solid colors but performs just as well. The heather type colors actually look like linen without all of the wrinkles.

These shorts are amazing. I am currently 6'3, 450+lbs, and I wear a 56" jean from local big and tall store here in Canada. Pants at this store are like 100$. I bought a pair of Lee jeans in 58"x32" and they are a bit big, so I went 56" on the shorts. I wear them above my hips, like around and above the tire in line with the belly button. They are a bit tight when bending and rolling on the floor with baby, but they are mighty light and comfortable when going around town or to the park. Very light. They fall down sometimes when not worn with a belt. Id like to get suspenders. Let's bring them back.

I bought shorts for my grandson and he was pleased with them. They seem like good quality and fit as expected. However, I live in an apartment on the 5th. floor;- fortunately I went down to the lobby and found that my parcel had been dropped off on a wall near our mailboxes in the lobby. A woman had my parcel in her hand;- 'not sure if she was going to take it or 'just looking,' but the company that delivered it ( Dynamex) should have a better system than leaving parcels in a public area for anyone to take.

These are my new favorite shorts! They have nice big pockets and I love the elastic on the sides of the waistband. Certainly helps keep them fitting nicely. I love how light they are, as well. Easily packed in a small bag for a weekend getaway!

Very light weight and comfortable. Really liked the black colour. More like a dark gun metal gray very nice. I wish they would make them in a dark navy. Overall very pleased. I am a 42 and they were true to size and relax fit.

I am a fairly large fellow. Pants fit incredibly well, the material is very light, but seems to wear very well. Despite my wife's opinion, I wear them to church in the summer too. LOL. In any case, recommended.
