Fullmetal Alchemist: Fullmetal Edition, Vol. 2 (2)

Like I said on my review to vol. 1, FMA[B] is a great anime, so I got the manga, and it's just as good, if not better. It came on time, it has the same hilarious moments as vol. 1, there are 3 new (important) characters, Shou Tucker, Nina Tucker, and Scar.It's has good translation, though, I noticed some mistakes in the translation, such as the Ishvalans being called "Ishbalans", Ishval = Ishbal, but, Ishval and Ishbal are still technically correct, since, in the 2003 anime, it is called Ishbal, the Viz Manga (this product.) also calls it that, but I think that Ishval is the correct spelling.More grammatical mistakes in some sentences, but it's okay, it's still an amazing book!!It's worth reading it, it won't waste your time, and, like others say, the manga is perfect for both Manga Lovers, and Non-Manga Lovers!I've already read vol. 3, so I'll put a review on there, too!HIGHLY RECCOMEND IT!!!

First off, let me say I generally am not a fan of anime or manga and had purchased this book as a Christmas gift for my younger brother. After flipping through it and getting caught up, I borrowed the first from said brother, then read this manga prior to gifting it. The Fullmetal Alchemist anime adaptations (there are two) are good, however they do not compare to the plot and depth of story in the manga. If you are manga fan (or even if you're not, like me) and are looking for a plot revolving around moral right and wrong, love of family, and the lengths we will go to in order to save them, then this is for you. I highly recommend this purchase, and sincerely hope you take the time to read this series some time. If nothing else, binge watch the anime(s) when looking for something different on Netflix :)Note: If you aren't going to read it, the "Brotherhood" adaptation is truer to the manga, I prefer the original adaptation.

Arrived fast and in good condition, Volumes 1 and 2 tend to be out of stock lately but just wait they'll always come back, don't pay more than what it's worth

This book is amazing and the pages feel good while reading. After nearly being killed by Scar, Ed and Al realizethat all they have is each other. After going home and getting repairs, Ed and Al follow a clue left to them and try to find the notes left by a researcher who worked for the government. By the end of the book, a small seed of doubt is sowed into Al’s mind. I only have one small nitpick over this book and that’s the small dent in the front of the book. During shipping it received a small dent in the cover and even though it is only on the cover, I was worried about the rest of the book. Fortunately no damage other than that one small bend in the front cover from shipping.

Fullmetal Alchemist, Vol. 2Fullmetal Alchemist is one of the, if not the best, animes out to date, and the story originated from these manga strips and books. Originally appearing in the Shonen Gangan by Square Enix, Fullmetal Alchemist is an immerse story about two brothers and their struggles to get their mother back to life, and also correct their defunk bodies from a failed attempt to bring their mother back to life through the taboo of 'human transmutation'. Science fans and fiction fans alike will fall in love with this manga.I recommend reading the books and watching the manga side by side to get the most out of the story.

This is the volume 2 that I bought from Amazon, and I think it came with expected dents and what not, but I’m not really a book collector so I don’t need a pristine condition book. I just want to support my favourite manga and the author.The dents and whatever, were not bad just the spine area which isn’t critical but might not be for you if you are concerned about dents
