Great product, used to weight luggage, easy to use !

Someone I traveled with loaned this luggage scale to me. I had done a lot of shopping and needed to distribute the additional weight among my bags in order to comply with the airline weight limits. The scale was very easy to use and accurate. I immediately ordered one for myself upon returning home. It is small and lightweight so it can be packed and carried with me to my destination. I've even given two as gifts.

Product is just as advertised. Easy to use, read, and pack in your suitcase to use for your return trip. That's essential if you buy souvenirs!I had one just like it, but, after 10 years, it finally quit working. Mine had a hook, not a strap... The strap is much better and accommodates larger luggage handles. I'm glad I found a replacement for it!

With some of the larger pieces of luggage these days, it is very easy to pack them in excess of the 50 lbs allowance for most airlines. I didn't want to get to baggage checkin and then have to move stuff around to get the weight under the limit, so I got this scale. It works great and is accurate. You can check your bag as you pack so you know how much more weight you can add until you are at the limit.Pros:Large, backlit, easy to read display.Multiple units (I use lbs, but kg is also available).Takes 2, easily obtainable, AAA batteries.The shape allows you to lift with two hands if you need to.Cons:It is very difficult to get the scale to lock in on a weight. The bag has to be perfectly still. I'm sorry but when you're hefting 50 lbs with one hand, there's going to be some jiggling. I only got the scale to lock in once when I used it. All other times, the weight was changing. HOWEVER, you can clearly see the weight in that large, readable display, and the weight is only shifting by .1-.2 lbs so you can get a good read on what your bag is weighing.It takes two batteries, and the batteries are in separate compartments. I'm sorry, but I think this is dumb. You should just have to remove one battery door to place the batteries in it.The "ON" button seems easy to accidentally activate. The on button is on top of the unit. It's just a push-button arrangement and the button extends above the upper surface. It seems like if this thing is jammed in your luggage, it would be easy to have something accidentally turn it on. This never happened to me, but just be aware. What I did to pack it was take out one of the batteries and turn it around.The only reason I gave it four stars, instead of five, was because of the weight reading not locking in. But as I said above, this was easy to work around. In summary, this is a good, inexpensive scale and I would get it again.

I was looking for a travel scale that would use regular batteries vs the small button CR2032 batteries, so this fits the bill. A number of times my old travel scale's battery ran down and it was hard to find a replacement sometimes. This scale uses AAA batteries that you can find anywhere, even in a gas station.The other thing I like is that the strap comes apart so is easy to loop thru the luggage handle. My old travel scale I had to loop thru the luggage handle and the scale so it was not as easy (specially if you have identification covers to easily see your luggage when it comes out of the luggage track)

Not sure how accurate the weight is but close enoughI guess.

Getting ready for a trip and this is helping me keep my luggage weight on check. The clip is the best option when trying to weigh my luggage as it doesn’t fall.
