This slow feeder bowl was perfect for our Labrador retriever. He always ate so fast but this bowl is perfect for him to eat out of and slows him down so he doesn’t choke. It fits his portion of food just perfectly and the bowl is stainless steel and sturdy so he can’t chew on it like the plastic ones. This bowl was totally worth the price and it makes the perfect functional food bowl for any dog!

I have a German Shepherd that inhales his food so I was looking for a slow feeder that would solve that problem. This feeder did just that. It is very well made, has a nice heavy feel to it. I wash it in the dishwasher. I was afraid my fellow would object to it, but he didn’t and in fact I think he is enjoying his meals now that he can actually taste the food.It was an excellent purchase.

I got the biggest size and its perfect, I mix my dogs food with water and this holds a lot of it! my previous bowl was too shallow and lightweight so my dog pushed it everywhere. This bowl is heavier, deeper, and has padding on the bottom.The raised "petals" don't slow my dog down much but better than just a flat bottom.

Effective for our smaller dog, but not for our larger dog. We have a 9 year old bischon frise (28 lbs) and a 4 year old lagotto romagnolo (36 lbs). This bowl slows the smaller dog down significantly compared to a regular metal dog food bowl. The slow feed bowl probably adds 4-5 minutes to his feeding routine on average, and sometimes he simply gives up on the food for awhile and comes back to it later. He is somewhat lazy in his old age. Our larger dog is not deterred by this bowl in the slightest, and it does not slow down her eating by more than 15 or 20 seconds max. She requires a bowl with deeper sides and more obstacles inside of it placed closer together.The quality of this bowl is good. We ordered "blue" and the bottom rubber piece appears to actually be more of a dark purple color. It isn't a problem for us since that part is always against the floor anyway. We would buy another one if this company made a bowl that was focused towards larger, more food-excited dogs as described above.

I had another slow feeder bowl for my puppy, but he seemed frustrated by it and it was a chore to clean well. This one, however, is perfect. It's easy to carry (and somewhat stackable...I have two), slows down my puppy and my adult dog from scarfing down, stays out on the floor for the most part, and is very easy to clean. I also love that it is stainless steel.

Needed to slow down our dogs eating habits and purchased this. She’s a chihuahua mix and some of the slow feeder bowls are too deep for her small snout. This one is perfect. Good quality bowl and appears this will last for years. Will purchase another to give a relative for when my dog visits.

This slow eating dog food bowl works awesome for my two-year-old rough collie. I actually have two collies one is a little older and she eats much slower than my younger one. This bowl helped my younger dog slow down eating, but did not make it difficult for her to get to her food. She actually finishes eating around the same time. My other one does so that she’s not going after my older dogs food. The bowl washes easily & it is stainless steel which I love. You could put this in the dishwasher As well. It’s large enough for a big dog. It holds up to 3 cups of dog food. I would highly recommend.

This bowl is the BEST! It is so study, well made and easy to clean! It truly SLOwED down my 7 month Golden from eating too way fast. This is a GREAT purchase! I would buy this again and again!
