Laptop is old. Not very efficient but the battery lasts around one hour on heavy usage

The parcel arrived very promptly & apparently in good condition. This was the end of the good news. Charged the battery up for nearly 2 days, then when the charger was disconnected the laptop powered down & would only power up again with the charger connected. The battery now shows only 91% charge, but I believe this should be enough for it to work correctly.
