A nice bluetooth speaker w/ptt
Speaker sounds good and clear, plenty loud. Works well with zello if you install the italkiedaemon all on word in the play store. This is not needed for standard bluetooth operation with your phone. The I talkie daemon let's you keep zello running in the background with your screen off and will still operate the zello ptt. However for me if I used it on messenger it would trigger zello and messenger. It also operates as a bluetooth speaker works great for listening to music or youtube also ringtones and notifications. The battery lasts a long time. I get multiple days on a charge (mic)with zello. My phone is an old Samsung s7 active and its battery lasts a decent amount of time about a day. Being able to communicate without pulling your phone out is nice especially while driving. And less screen on time helps the phone battery running. Being able to The mic doesnt work unless the ptt is pressed. So in a phone call you have to ptt. Which can be a good thing if your in a noisy environment I guess. It's a fairly robustly built product. Mine has a very slight rattle to it if you give it a shake. I think the speaker or so other part in there could use a dab of hot glue. All in all I'm very happy with this product.

Its okay..
UPDATE:So I played with this more today and the TX audio on this is god awful. It sounds like the mic is being over driven and also distorted at the same time. I've tried lowering my gain all the way down to 1% and the audio is still distorted and you can barley hear. I've also tried covering part of the mic and still audio is horrible. If I put the mic out at arms length its not as hot, but it still sounds very distorted.I've tried it on DVSwitch, Echolink and also its intended Zello all apps resulted in very poor TX audio. The receive audio is actually pretty decent, but that is it.Cannot recommend for any application, will get returned.======================So I'm using this with a Network Radio (IP Radio), its basically a glorified android phone. I was able to install thedaemon software and the PTT paired without any hassle.I'm not using this for Zello, I'm using for an application called DVSwitch Mobile. It works perfectly fine with that software, receives and transmits fine. I find the audio however to be very lack luster, almost unusable. It seems if you talk to the top of the mic so your voice is going over the mic vs towards the audio clears up a little. The PTT its self feels about as cheep as it looks in the picture. Belt clip does feel pretty sturdy but the springs for the clip are pretty weak. Volume buttons do work, however the voice announcements work whenever they feel like it. I would say 1 out of 20 times of pushing the volume button I will get "Volume 8 of 15" or something like that. Its pretty long winded, dunno why I need to know the max volume, just tell me the current. For the price, I don't believe this device is worth it. There are other PTTs out there with better build quality and features. The daemon is the only thing that makes this device unique. Having software that handles the "drivers" for the applications is pretty handy. That said, not 100% sure if this will be a keeper, I will have to continue to see if I can clear up the transmitted audio somehow.

Bluetooth couldn't connect with my Pixel XL (2nd gen)
Looks sturdy and all, but wouldn't communicate with my Google Pixel XL (2nd model year) via bluetooth. I tried emailing the support but got no reply, and so I ended up returning the item. Will try some other manufacturer's product.

Great comcept
Nicad battery installed. It would never charge to 100%. Would be better if the battery or batteries could be replaced via battery cover.

Great Product
Great handi talki mic for the price.Work great for zello. Turn the apps notifications off to not here battery status. Noise cancelation is moderate for background noise. Bluetooth connects in truck equipped with Alexa Auto, smart head unit and smart watch already being connected. Acts as an extension speaker for use with notification reader and drivemode. Keying the mic streaming audio while mobile is not a problem. Set your default pinned channel to always be on top and you can both talk and reply while interrupting music with no issue. Mic also allows for VOX handfree reply to read SMS & MMS. Battery life should last an entire day with moderate use..All in all, very pleased with purchase.
