Sturdy. Working well for us
- No country of origin (illegal in the US)All the print on the bag is Taiwanese, the only English on the pkg is "Filter bag" and "New design" (it's not new)I'm not a big fan of the filter bags generally. They're messy and look fairly icky after use. If you're making a large pitcher, though, it's needful to use. This is exactly the same design as those I've bought over the last 20+ yrs. The cloth is nicely thick. Seams are even and well done. The handle is quite sturdy. It's working perfectly for me.Don't forget to use the Smile.Amazon.com address - It's an Amazon program where many everyday things you buy will generate a small donation from Amazon to the charity of your choice at no cost to you. Great for Thai tea
Way better for making Thai tea than using a metal mesh strainer. Easy cleanup too, doesn't stain easily like I thought it would.

Good!
I use this to make milk tea with very fine loose leaf tea. This strains the tea perfectly with no residue left in the milk tea. To clean, after use I turn the sleeve inside out then spray hot water through to rinse the tea leaves off. Once the tea leaves are off, I massage soap into the such, thoroughly rinse then air dry.
