100% perfect
As a retired Chef, I have to say I am so impressed with Massel's Stock Powders. I buy and use the Chicken, Beef and Vegetable regularly. There flavors are spot on even though they are plant based with no animal byproducts. Unlike the beef and chicken bases we normally get here in the US, Massel's does not taste of mostly salt. Each one has an abundance of flavor. You can actually taste the subtle flavors of the different vegetables in the vegetable stock powder. I love them, and if they are ever not sold in the US any more, I may just have to move to Australia. I give them a 10/10. If I could give them more I would.

highly recommend
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This product was amazing! Without making and browning a beef roast, it is hard to make good gravy. I used a can of beef broth and added this product and was totally impressed. The taste and flavor were beyond my expectations. Will buy again!!

Great taste, convenient, gluten free!
I have reviewed this before and it continues to be a great product for my daughter with Celiac Disease. We probably use a heavier amount than stated to get the flavor that we want. But it does last a long time. It is a good value for the many uses per container. This was the purchase of my fourth container and I intend to continue buying it. We use it for a cup of broth to drink, to cook rice, and to start a soup base.

There’s no chicken in it!
Haven’t used it yet. Right now I’m using better than boullon which I really like, but it’s very expensive, so I thought I’d try and less expensive bouillon replacement. I was surprised when I got it. The chicken, flavored bullion didn’t have any chicken.I am always looking for a great bouillon without msg.

Yummy, vegetarian friendly powders!
These are all suitable for vegetarians! I've tried each flavor variety and think the chicken style is the most delicious and versatile flavor. The reduced sodium version isn't lacking anything either. This is my favorite, affordable, vegetarian safe, bullion powder.

Serving size is small and bland and/or confusing
First impressions:I was wondering what the catch was to make it low fodmap. And it's that the serving size of 1/4 tsp, which is required to not go over to make it actually low FODMAP, is tiny and the broth barely tastes like anything. The powder tasted good when I licked it off the measuring spoon. Bummer. I do see now that another reviewer mentioned that you needed at least 2 tsps, which is double the instructions, which is great for them but they apparently aren't following a low FODMAP diet. I think this is a problem on monash's side, not massel, but not telling consumers where the yellow and red light cut offs is for branded premade products (eg not whole foods) makes the system almost useless, including for this product.I'm confused about what the serving size actually is. The American nutrition label says to put 1 "heaping tsp" (which is some BS imo, for a product where the amount used dictates whether it's low FODMAP or not) in 4 cups of water, and the serving size is listed as 1 cup. Which would indicate a serving size of ~1/4 tsp. But the Australian label says the serving size is 1.5 grams. One star is just because anything more than one star doesn't effectively communicate that the product was not satisfactory. It's probably more like 2 stars for me.Extremely expensive, but when you don't have any other options, you take what you can get, I guess.
