Surprisingly good
I bought one for my daughter, for her to keep in the glove box of her car. Because of the knife, glass breaker, and bottle opener I thought it made a nice practical "dad" type gift - part tool, part self defense, part safety item - that I hoped she'd never have to use. When she opened it on XMAS, she was nervous about it, so I showed her how to open and handle it. The spring assisted opener is quite effective, and scared her at first, as she is not comfortable around a "weapon". She called it her "switch blade". I assured her it was meant as a safety item and tool, not a weapon, but I suspect it will never make it out of her glove box.Enough about that. It is a heck of a nice knife for $8. I've paid $50 and $60 for well made folding knifes, and while this one has a certain Darth Vader space alien kind of look to it (not exactly a gentleman's every day carry knife) I have to say it is a tremendous value. The spring-assisted opener is nearly as effective as anything on the market (though stiffer and harder on the index finger than some very fine knives) and the blade is a good and sharp. Long story short...I ended up buying one for myself, though not the pink color that I bought for my daughter. When you take this out to show someone. You get a "whoah" reaction. It is a little gaudy and menacing looking just for cutting cardboard, but the guys at the warehouse will like it. Seriously, for the money, it is a screaming bargain. Don't fall for any of the hype or inflated list prices. It's an $8 import knife, nothing more, but a heckuva useful pocket knife, with effective one-handed deployment for that price. The spring loaded mechanism that makes it easy to open with one hand makes it clumsy to close with one hand, as the spring works against you in closing mode. Best to close it with two hands, as the blade is no toy. The knife is slightly bulky and slightly heavy for jeans pocket use, but not burdensome. Again, an extremely practical tool at a remarkably low price. Nothing more.

Not quite what I expected
I purchased this knife because it had assisted opening and since I do not have strong hands I thought this would be a good choice for me, however I find it very difficult to open and no instructions come with it. It does seem well made and is a good size for my hands so I won't go to the trouble to send it back, I just wish it was easier to open.

Not time tested yet, but seriously sweet.
I only just received this a couple weeks ago, so that elusive 5th star would be for durability. But I should give it anyway for value. This is now my favorite knife. It not only looks bad-ass, the spring loading works great after a few initial openings and flips out easily with one hand. Arrived quick, clean and sharp too, though I'll put a more dangerous edge on it eventually. No complaints to the product... however watch yourself. I ordered this with an order greater than $25 and even though it said right on the page about FREE SHIPPING W ORDER OVER $25 (most items totaling over $25 were Amazon fulfillment), but I got charged the $4.99 shipping anyway. In appeals with the vendor now... for some reason it was their responsibility to give me free shipping (makes no sense).

Lock mechansim needed fixing.
As about 10% of the reviews have stated, there are potential problems with the blade open locking mechanism. This should not be a total shock as this is a piece of crap made in China.I fixed it pretty easily using a few very small Torx bits to open the knife and remove the blade: number 7 and 9 bits. I used me diamond knife sharpener to shave a half millimeter off the fulcrum end of the blade so that the catch would clear it upon opening. It was obvious that someone had tried to do this at the factory (sweat shop) but had left too metal much there. Now it works and looks great. Pathetic quality control, but not a bad risk for 10 bucks.

My favorite so far
I've had Kershaws, Swiss, Gerbers and others. No joke on the price here, this is easily better than the $60 knives Ive had. Durable, sharp, versatile. I like the bottle opener, finger flick opening, easy but secure unlock, and it goes in your pocket like butter. I'm getting my second one now after loosing my first in travels. I'd pay several times more money for this in a heartbeat.

Be careful!
It's a nice knife but the open / close mechanism requires a lot more pressure than I expected. I literally cut myself within 5 minutes of opening this thing b/c I was trying to get used to opening and closing it and it dropped blade first into my left palm. Extremely sharp so be careful. Do not get this unless you are used to spring loading knifes and have a lot of strength in your hand.

Best folding knife you can get for under $10!!!
The knife is very well made and it feels much more expensive that it is.I couldn't be happier with the rainbow color, kind of like those titanium exhaust tips color.Feels pretty heavy in my hand for such a small knife. The only design flaw is the beer opener feature requires blade to be opened. You sure don't want to be opening a beer with the knife pointing at your own forearm
