Well made and easy to use classic stovetop coffee maker. Cleaning is very easy. I got the smallest size and wish I had gotten the larger size, because it makes 1 cup and you have to let it cool down to handle it to make another.This works on my electric stove on the small burner, medium heat. You do have to stand by it and wait for it, but it is very quick. Be careful to only hold it by the handle as the metal is very hot- place it on a trivet or the metal stovetop to cool before cleaning.If there starts to be leakage in the join between top and bottom sections you need to replace the O Ring seal. The maker sells a kit for this also on Amazon.The O Ring is a consumable item and will wear in normal use. It is very easy to replace. Just make sure you get the right size for your model.It makes great tasting coffee, pour over a spoonful of vanilla ice cream in your cup for a nice treat!

This pot lives up to the standard!Look up some basic instructions for how to use one, before trying it out. It’s simple, but there are still things you can mess up (under/over filling water/grounds, how long to heat, etc.). One thing I wish I knew, was that you really can’t under-fill the grounds for one of these - each size makes one quantity of coffee.The only part that you should have to replace is the rubber gasket that connects the two halves together, but I’ve had two of these for years, and neither has needed their gasket replaced yet.If you haven’t already - buy one to try it out! Keep in mind, the sizing is in cups of espresso, not American coffee pot ‘cups’.

I do not use my drip coffee machine anymore. I love this moka pot, especially when paired with a good hand coffee grinder. Educate yourself with a few videos, and learn to make a great cup. This makes for a fun and fulfilling coffee routine, and the Bialetti is the OG moka pot. Understand that this is not technically espresso, but it makes amazing coffee drinks. If you like cappuccino and latte but don't have $400 minimum to spend on an decent machine, you will NOT be disappointed with a moka pot. Lastly, research what size you need, because you really shouldn't be making anything other than a full pot for proper extraction. This 6 Cup is perfect for 2 strong cappuccinos for my daughter and me (1 each) every morning.
