Great size, mild quality fabric
This was the exact thing I was looking for. It was great for a costume and was the perfect width. The only complaint is that the fabric seemed a little cheap. Great for a costume or a concert or two, but for an everyday tie I would recommend something a little high quality.

However, as I started living my own life, and could afford ties, I moved more into the middle width, modern tie. Within the last couple of years, I started paying attention to skinny ties. So, needing one for a wedding, I purchased this bad boy.PROS:So what's great about it? I'm athletic, 5'11", 170lb. Skinny ties tend to accentuate my thin build, so it looks great on me. The quality of the material is decent. The color is great, and black never goes out of style, so this is pretty much a staple of my work wardrobe.You won't find a modern tie at this price in any department store, ever.CONS:I honestly can't think of any. It's a tie, it's for a great price, and it reminds me of Samuel Jackson's and John Travolta's black ties in Pulp Fiction.OVERALL:Purchase it.

Great quality
I purchased this tie to wear for a "throw back" event, choosing a look from the late 1950's - early '60's. It looked great. Considering the price, I was astounded at what good quality it is. In all likelihood, I'll never wear it again but it provided me the vibe I was looking for and I will keep it around just in case another such event comes along.
