Why did you pick this product vs others?:I used it once when I had sciatic issues that were making my arthritic knees ache bad. Years had passed and I had been powering through the pain and trying various supplements when I remembered Arthriflex. It works as great as I remembered. It really pairs nicely with my duloxetine to give me mostly pain free days until surgery. Tests from a recent fall show my right knee has severe bone on bone and synovial chondromatosis as well as the beginnings of bone on bone on my left. So I'm happy to have found this again.

I have arthritis in both hands and my right knee. I am a contractor and the daily work I perform aggravates it and by the end of the day it is all I could do to walk from my truck in to the house. My hands were also painful to use. Not a good problem for someone who makes their living with their hands. It got so bad I had to do something. I started researching the different remedies and finally read the reviews here on Amazon. So 4 months ago I ordered my first bottle. Did not notice a difference at first. After several weeks I woke up one morning and noticed my hands did not hurt like they usually do and neither did my knee. My knee had actually been swollen and it started to reduce in size. I just received my 3rd bottle and I have to say it has been a huge improvement. I am not saying I am cured but on a scale of 1-10 before the pain would be say a 8-9. Now it is more like a 3-4. I am able to work longer hours and my knee is almost back to normal size. My hope is that if you are reading this and are suffering the way I was that you give this a try and it works for you the way it has for me.

I have used Arthriflex for more than a decade, and, except for its nearly-poisonous amount of manganese (half the TUL - Tolerable Upper Limit), it has been great stuff. However, without notice they have changed the formula to include a whopping 2000 IU of vitamin D3. My blood level of vitamin D is already pushing the safe upper limit, so I will not be using the new formula.Even if you can use the vitamin D, be careful about that manganese, especially if you're a vegetarian. Exceeding the TUL can cause nerve damage that is NOT REVERSIBLE - it doesn't heal if you stop getting too much manganese. The TUL is only 11.5 mg, and Arthriflex alone has 5 mg. Even a typical American junk-food diet provides 2 to 3 mg, with a vegetarian diet providing more.
