Are these lights individually addressable? (ie every light on the string can be a different color)

Yes you can manage it individually. Depending on the computer connected and the program/software you can turn it on any color and intensity.

What's the easiest way to do power injection with 5v power supplies every 2 strands? Using a Chinly controller trying to run all 500 leds.

I have 2 strings around a front door and if I feed them from the first string there is a noticeable decrease in brightness through the second string. I solved this by running another power line to the beginning of the second string. You need to calculate you total wattage per string, each bulb is a 5050 RGB or 3 LEDs per "bulb". Each LED draws a maximum of ~0.3watt, so there are 3 leds per each bulb (red+green+blue) or a maximum of .9 watts (0.18amps @5V White) per "bulb". A maximum of .9 x 50 = 45 watts per string (I= 45 watts / 5V = 9 amps per 50 @5VDC White)! There is a definite power loss by the end of each string of 50 leds. If you have 2 strings (100 leds) and you try to power them via the first string only you will have a noticeable voltage drop by the end of the second string (much dimmer). If you are producing multiple colors, especially white when you have all 3 leds lit! you will, most likely, need to feed at the beginning of each string to have a constant illumination level.

hi, thanks for your message, length of our rextin wire between leds is 8cm , 50pcs led a lot ,4meters /13ft for 50pcs led strip, so 500pcs is about 131ft /40 meters,anything more we can do for you ,please feel free to let us know ,thanks

what side is the input and what side is the output? I am trying to rig these up with a pixel pusher, and cant get them to light up? Please help!

On the 12V string, the input side has the female connector and the input wires connect to the logic board on the side that is labeled. The back side (output side) of the board doesn’t have the soldier points labeled.
