Why do you have to change the water twice a day?

It's not necessary to change water so frequently in many cases. Most bird caretakers are familiar with the "soup" parrots make by dipping their pellets in their water dish. The bits of food make the water a germy "soup" and the parrot may choose to drink less.

Does it work wonders with parakeets

This item is useful in calming most parakeets down. However, for learned behavioral issues, it works best when combined with behavioral training. Dosage on the bottle is the recommended starting point. You can slightly increase dosage if necessary to calm anxiety.

Is this flavorless or nutty? Both are in the description and i have a super picky bird when it comes to new flavors.

I am not aware of the flavor as I did not taste it. It does not seem to have an odor. My bird is picky although has taken to it -thankfully!
