I rarely bother to review items but I had to make an exception in this case. The price vs value is truly unbelievable,solid build all around. The leather seems tough as nails and fits my sons ESEE-6 like it was made for it, little if any slop + snaps down very snugly. I should order an ESEE-6 for myself just as an excuse to get another one of these, its just that good. This thing looks like it'll take years of abuse and we plan on putting it to the test. System is built ok but I based my purchase of size given which should have worked with the esee 6. The knife is way too loose in sheath. Good sheath but not for what I need.

Great sheath. Really well made . arrived early and fit my tr40 custom tracker perfectly. Would a been five stars but has a few places that you can tell was touched up with leather dye that doest match the original color. But plan to use hard and often so definitely worth the money..

It cost 40 bucks for a reason do yourself a favor and save your money

I'd say ya get what ya pay for, but... This just isn't so with this sheath. Fit and finish is sub par. The actual finish is brown paint, or something similar. The pin that holds the strap on gouged the handle big. The back facing the handle protrudes about a quarter inch " probably really like an eighth", but still, it was rough and gouged the handle on my PKS knife I just finished. I was not very pleased. It looked OK when I opened it. I was happy and grabbed my knife to check the fit and I immediately got upset. No big deal. I can fix it I thought. Well I did. It's OK. I wish I would have paid double, like the last sheath I bought. But... I checked out. If it was $20... I'd be happier. Oh well ya live and learn. I hope this helps someone. Oh... The top opening snaps on the belt loops... It would be better if they were bottom opening as to not snag and open, also they are very easy to open. I give it 2 *'s cuz it is leather, and it will hold a knife. If you have a knife that isn't a wood handle, maybe it won't gouge it so bad.

fit my shrade knife very well. It was just what I was looking for ever since I seen a similar one one one of those survival shows.

Cool sheath, the Chinese copy of the tracker knife (the Hunted Forest Tracker T-3 Hunting Bowie Knife) doesn't fit it though as the blade is too wide. Don't have my Tops Tracker with me yet to see if that fits or not. Was planning on taking the useless sawblade off the knife with a circular grinder anyway and maybe it will fit then.  The Hunted Forest Tracker T-3 Hunting Bowie Knife
