Thai flower clay Floral clay Cold porcelain clay (Green)

now, like many of you crafters out there I'm always trying to find ways to make beautiful crafts without paying ridonkulous prices, I will even try to make my own products....easier said than done. I thought I would try to make my own cold porcelain clay and have it flexible after drying....after numerous attempts and recipes from the internet, I can honestly say..not happening!! they all fail and either crack when dried or go extremely hard, which I guess that's why they named it "cold porcelain" lol. Anyway...…….I found this Thai clay which is hard to find in the U.S to start with, it arrived well before the date given, it was extremely well packaged so it didn't dry out, it takes leaf and flower veiners very well, it dries white with a touch of translucency, its flexible, I didn't roll mine thin enough to make it very flexible but i'm new to this medium so it will take practice, but once I get the hang of it, my flowers hopefully will look stunningly realistic, its shapeable after it dries too. it take pastels well, I haven't tried water colours with it yet. there is one thing it doesn't like...oil based paints. it dries the clay out and the clay turns brittle so be aware if you want to colour your clay water based is the way to go. I can honestly now say...I have given up trying to make my own flexible cold porcelain clay, I have tried and failed. so i'm going to stock up on this clay instead and maybe use the other stuff for the smaller buds and flowers that dont require a lot of movement. I can say though...buy this clay if you want flexible flowers, well worth the money, just be patient when it comes to shipping as it does have to come from overseas. WORTH A FIVE STAR REVIEW IN MY BOOKS.

Tries very quickly . Maybe it’s normal. I’m new at this.

Fun to use. Dries fast, with a slight transparency (depending how thin) and flexibility. Slight glue smell. Shipping time was decent.

I use this for my hand craft flowers, flexible and easy to work with.
