Doesn’t work docked, melting paint, shoddy build quality… (READ NOTE IN REVIEW)
Note - I left this review on the original listing for this product… Spigen seem to have relisted it. Unsure if this is a nefarious way to avoid people seeing the awful reviews or not, but here’s my review so you don’t get caught out!Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 June 2025The material is very flimsy and is also a case hoping you stick adhesive strips to your brand new £395+ device (granted some premium cases also do this, but after reading this review I’d advise against it)… The case does not allow for docked play as advertised either (it fits the dock very very snuggly, but is too big for a clear connection to the port for it to reliably work - disconnects a lot). The paint on the joycon covers also melts from the device heat and comes off (I had grey on my fingers and had to clear it from the buttons on my switch 2).A real shame as the idea is good, with Spigen being reliable in the phone and smartwatch cover space. This however feels like a rushed and poorly executed product.Have organised a return.

Okay, but not great.
Disappointed with Spigen here - especially because I love their NS2 grip case a lot. This one is made of cheap plastic, that isn’t nice in the hands. The components require ‘sticky pads’ to keep them in place on your console, which makes it quite scary when you want to remove it.The main body of the case (that goes on the console) is actually quite good - slim, fits well and works in the dock. However, it’s the Joy cons that let it down.I would recommend Spigens grip case instead here, as this isn’t that great, and doesn’t hold up to Spigens reputation

Great looking lightweight case
Great product nice and slim profile and adds very little bulk. The only thing I had not realised is that the case is fixed down using self adhesive pads.

OK but better out there...
It's an OK case but definitely not worth the price!

Not recommended
Very flimsy feeling, the joy-con sections don’t fit snugly so there is a little movement which is quite distracting when in use. The ergonomics are also not improved from the original switch 2.
