I wear this hat regularly for search and rescue functions (callouts, meetings, outreach events, etc.) It holds my SAR Patch well. Velcro is good quality. This hat holds up to the wear and tear of my climbing helmet going on and off over it. It’s gone through branches and bushes and plenty of rock and dirt as well as rain. I’ve had it for a few months and it’s holding up great so far. Good hat for the money.

Just got this hat today and overall I’m really happy with it. It fits my head like I had hoped, but the material definitely feels cheap, and I was a little afraid of the Velcro portion coming off when I was removing my patch. It doesn’t seem sewn on super well, but as long as you aren’t swapping patches a lot I think it should hold up fine. I would definitely buy another one of their hats in a different color sometime in the future.

Fits perfect

The hat is lightweight and comfortable, but unfortunately a little poorly/cheaply made. Off-centered Velcro patch and threads hanging. Worst part of it all, I received the hat and it smells like fish? Tried washing it and still smells.

Appearance, fit, shape

I've tried Condor, Oakley, and Ultrakey. Out of the three, Oakley is the most comfortable and is made of a mesh material and doesnt sit too far down on the sides of my head.Condor was very uncomfortable due to sitting behind my ears and even seemed to stick out a bit right behind the bill on both sides. Ultrakey is kinda the best all-rounder. Comfortable, cheap, and looks good.
