Dr Miracles Braid Relief Gel

I received this jar well-bubble-wrapped inside of a larger box, but the original manufacturer's box was not included. Just the jar itself.I didn't care much because I've used this before. When you have braids or a weave and it's just ITCHING, but you don't want to wash yet (or don't need to - the itch is often caused by the tension), this stuff is great to use on your scalp. It tingles and relieves the itch. I can also tell that it's water-based by the consistency, so theoretically it's moisturizing my scalp.Since the original box wasn't included, I Googled the ingredients and found this list:Thermalceutical(tm) Complex [Water (Aqua), Cetyl Acetate (And) Acetylated Lanolin Alcohol, Panthenol, Zea Mays (Corn) Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Simethicone, Polysorbate 80, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil, Niacin, Zinc Ricinoleate], Glycerin, Mineral Oil, Oleth-10, Dea-Oleth-3 Phosphate, Oleth-20, Eugenia Caryophyllus (Clove) Leaf Oil, Menthol, Dm Dm Hydatoin, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Fragrance, Caramel, Bha, Fd&C Yellow #5, D&C Orange #4I figured there was mineral oil in there somewhere, but it's surprisingly far down on the product list so it shouldn't be too bad. (Mineral oil coats your hair and scalp and clogs pores.) It also has parabens, but those are also far down the list and shouldn't cause too much alarm - especially since the evils of parabens are in dispute and not confirmed.Normally I'm an ingredient stickler - no parabens, no mineral oil - but the relief that this product gives is SO worth the ingredients I don't like.

Not as good as the spray.

I love this stuff! Suffered from tight braids other so called remedies failed miserably. Put this on my scalp with a little massage and I slept like a baby. The coolness and tingling was so soothing.

Horrible product! Item literally burned my hair out within hours

This product burned the nap of my hair out of my head, burned the back of my ears & caused my scalp to itch with peeling. NO MORE DR. MIRACLE PRODUCT FOR ME!!!!!!
