Get working...great book.
Great book. Well done. In a day of crap, pop music it's getting harder and harder to find publishers willing to transcribe works by masters. There's no better way to study a master, than to learn their work. As far as "did the transcriber nail the correct positions" especially in regards to chord voicing? I'm going to say, "yes". I think the difficulty in playing a few of the progressions lies in the brilliance of Wes Montgomery and not in the transcribed positions chosen in the book.

Great songbook!!
This is a very accurate transcription book although I've been only working through 1 song so far and there are a couple of bars that you could quibble about the note accuracy. If you are a Wes fan this is a must, this book makes it so much easier to learn his music. I use a slowed down music transcription software with the book, and you really get a feel the way his phrases "breathe" which is just as important as knowing the notes.

This was for my father and since he hasn't said anything I have to assume that he liked it.
